Cookie will rip Gateshull apart at the derby again, he is finding form lately, i think he will run the show, and Dobbo will take a step back, come on Cookie ram it down their throats !!!

There is no question about his ability , it is how we use him.

As we have all seen has taken more of a secondary role to Dobbo , but we really need him to get more involved in the attack IMO.

He undoubtably has the ability to open up defences.

In attack he needs to see more of the ball & if there is a more even share of the workload with Dobbo the team can only benefit.

I feel it radiating towards me every time I come on Rovers forums.



And yes Cooke will be up for it against us,as no doubt will Briscoe as well.

Good luck to him, seems to have got his life back on track and I think with his excellent understanding of the game he could make a very good coach.

James Webster in 05 IIRC, another great coach-in-the-making I reckon.

Forever grateful to Cookie for ensuring Rovers survival from relegation in 2007 ensuring our long term future as a top-flight RL team because had we not survived, we'd not have been granted a licence in 2008 and we'd probably still be kicking around in the Championship.

He was a big part of our 4th place finish in 2009 (yes we actually finished in the "top-four" - not just speaking about it).
