| Despite being somewhat reassured by roopy' assessment and excited by Kelly's clear talent, an organiser is important. Thing is though that Broughs, Sinfields, Dobsons and Walshs aren't exactly growing on trees. Pryce and Sneyd at 1865's club are not really renowned for directing play (which isn't saying they're not creative or good players). A lot goes through Westerman there now, I believe - but even still.
I think we've recruited well, but for me it's more relief than triumphalism. And after Keating, who came with a decent pedigree, I am a wee bit concerned about how it'll fit together. Be interesting to see how it pans out.

Well yeah, but you're the one that piped up when I questioned someone calling his kicking game as excellent based on watching him in an inferior competition, just remember that.
I say he has no real kicking game to speak of and certainly isn't an organiser, based on watching him for a long time in the NRL first grade, which is much closer to SL standard than NSW cup is. I challenge you to find any GC fan who thinks different.

Not sure how you worked out that Sneyd & Pryce don't direct play?

Don't you worry tapes have been sent of Sneyds challenge cup performance on how to kick and organise. After all he's your go to guy.

Neither are, long dictated saints play and williams did at cats. Sneyd never directed play at cas last year, he was more off the cuff hence the reason powell dropped him / subbed him in the big games

Well it's a spectrum, but I wouldn't put them alongside players renowned for pulling the strings. Pryce had always been more of a runner, and Sneyd from what I've seen and read on here seems closer to somebody like Myler than, for example a Dobson or (even more so) a Deacon. Finn is more their type I think, if not necessarily quite the same quality.

HOW on earth do you get NILLED at Wembley ?
When your coach isn't a winner at heart and Gentle is not a winner at heart .
We were a pub team
I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO
RL is a tough tough game and Maylord She-dong you have no clue
In fact don't ever ever reply to any of my posts again:37721.jpg |

The volume is still there, it's just the quality that's down.

Williams didn't dictate at Catalan until Pryce was binned for securing his long term future, I agree about the Long at Saints bit, but that was a while ago now.. We must have both watched a different Sneyd, strange that.

Pryce, in the past has been mainly a runner, and I sure hop we're not planning to rely on his kicking game. But his game has adapted over the last couple of years at Catalan, especially after Dureau had his health scare and stopped playing. He organised whilst relying on Bosc's boot for the long kicking game.
I wouldn't say Sneyd is much like Myler, he doesn't have his pace for starters. I imagine Sneyd will be somewhat shielded by Pryce, allowing him to develop his game and settle in, it'll be nice to have that for us.

| Well having watched the titans first two games of 2014 we seem to have signed a 7 with a very good kicking game. Better than Dobson's. Mr Kelly scored 3 tries from his own half all his own work. Was the broadcasters man of the match in both.
I'm with Capoza. Rovers have signed a top quality player.
From the press I've read he continues this form until fracturing his tibia. Then a torn muscle then can't play due to the Cronulla ban. Some coup by Mr Smith getting this guy. The real titans fans are gutted.
I'm afraid 1865 is another caravan botherer. He clearly hasn't watched any titans games.
Kelly is a skyscraper level above Rankin.
