Will somebody please explain why there is a consideration that Rovers squad is better than last years? Their best player from the last 10 years has been replaced by Jimmy Crankie, Poore is exactly that, Costigan is slow and overweight and Jamie Langley is and will become another RL journeyman due to his lack of effectiveness. Truth is the squad IS NOT as good as last years by a long stretch and after 5-6 years of overachieving you are settling into your rightful place between 8th and 12th.



Hudgell has massive delusions of grandeur and building a new stand that will add to the capacity for 1 game a year is ludicrous. 7k for a home game against Castleford was quite pathetic, however, I would like to congratulate Rovers on the 15% increase in pass sales....then again 15% of not a lot is, erm....not a lot.

Hudgell needs to act now,Sandercock is out of his depth and comfort zone.He's probably a great assistant but not a head coach.

You've been pretty hopeless since sandy took over. No doubt you'll have an easy run of games at some point and pick up some wins, including one or two unexpected ones against better quality opposition. When it happens, everyone will be patting sandy on the back, confirming how all of the players say he's the best coach they've ever had, how he's great at developing young talent, before your inevitible late season slump when your top 8 aspirations go up in smoke.



Face it, he's useless. He's worse than gentle and pearson binned him without a 2nd thought. There's no chance you will go down but currently it looks like you'll be somewhere between 9th and 11th.



As for best rovers team since you came into SL, no chance. Your forwards are mostly past it and unfit, your half backs nowhere near good enough, your 3/4's are amongst the worst in the division and your full back is hopeless.



Hull's squad isn't great but there's not 1 player at rovers who would get into our starting 17

Seems to have been a bad night injury wise last night, we've lost Hall, Lovegrove and Horne apparently, sort of cuts the options down for changing things next week.

i dont think the rovers team is that bad. but i have always wondered if sandy was able to get those blood and guts displays out of his players that Morgan used to. which quite frankly terrorised an agar coached Hull. dobbo was one of the most complete 7's the super league era has seen, replacing him is a task the best coaches in the business wouldn't fancy taking on. 'amongst the best' sandy most certainly isnt, and thats putting it very politely. just look at problems Hull and saints have had replacing cooke and long. Warrington with briers might prove the same.

We're not that bad.ANY team would've struggled with our fixtures.But the problems stem from last season and the coach has had all of the off season to work on things.At the very least,he needs help doing that.

And i'd love Houghton in our team,he should be an England regular.

Although i agree we have had a hard start to the season but should that matter these teams are in the same competition playing off the same salary cap so why are they so far infront of us there not just beating us (huddersfield apart) we have been terrible we have had 2 and abit years of excuses from sandercock injuries poor referees there team have more internationals which we have sort of believed or let him off or give him some slack but over his reign can anybody remember us actually looking a good team or being proud of what they have been doing on the field? I'm not saying sandy has all been bad i know the club off the field have gone forward and professionalism of the club seems a whole lot better but all that good work is being undone by us going backwards on the pitch

The results for you guys have gone the way you would expect (barring Cas probably), HOWEVER, the performances have been very very poor. If you want to challenge for honours, or even playoffs!, you should at least be competing against these teams, unfortunately you're not. If you were only getting beaten by 6 points, there wouldn't be as much doom and gloom on here, even though you'd still only be on 1 league point. Fans can take getting beat when the team put all their effort in and come up just short against a better team, it just seems like your boys aren't doing that. To quote Remember The Titans, "attitude reflects leadership".
