Yes 2 points! Remember Oldham? Well we're a lot better than them
My limited research reveals that you are indeed a fan of The Mount unPleasant club, so welcome to our humble abode.

I'm a lazy sod, but I take your challenge seriously, who should we be looking out for from your club?

Interested in your players, I'll be at the game so would appreciate people we should look out for, I used to hate to be patronised by the so called bigger clubs, you'll be coming over to east Yorkshire for the points.

We were often turned over there in the nineties and I have horrible memories myself.

Please indulge my laziness.

Quote: Mild Rover "Depends on other results. In theory a team could end up in the mpg with 5 wins. Only 4 wins and there's a good chance of it happening. On the other hand, we could come third with only three wins.

28 games will be played, so 56 points will be available. Three examples of how they could be distributed are
I've had a time travelling dream and you're almost on the money here MR. The final points and table of the middle 8s 2016 after the 7 rounds will be as follows:

14 - Hull KR, 10 - Featherstone Rovers, 10 - Batley Bulldogs, 8 - London Broncos, 6 - Leeds Rhinos, 6 - Salford Red Devils, 2 - Huddersfield Giants, 0 - Leigh Centurions

LEEDS to beat London in the MPG.

I think that could be spookily accurate. k020.gif

We're all looking forward to our day out in Hull. My picks on who to look out for are James Brown and Alex Rowe in the forwards. Ainscough on the wing and our very good fullback Scott. Rettie on the wing is also useful and our number 7 Brambani takes us around the park with a decent kicking game. Our forwards usually give us the platform and it will be interesting to see how we do. Come and say hello on Sunday we'll be the noise ones in the Colin Hutton stand icon_smile.gif

Think they were on telly twice in cup?.useful team with good pack Ainscough looks heftier but still rapid.certainly tougher than Oldham .If we go behind early a score or 2 it will be hard and crowd will be on teams back.if attitude is correct we should be ok but this time around in this comp I seem more worried than last year.webster for me doesn't have the balls to give the team a rollicking

Its a game where we need to have a good completion rate and not get frustrated if we don't score very early. We should be better in every position so as long as we respect the ball then we should rack up points.

Lot of should's in there though.

After failing in their main 2016 objective, to beat Hull FC, Rovers' morale will be at a seasons low.

This is the time for Batley to capitalise. Batley full of confidence and wanting to start off their middle 8 campaign with a scalp.

Didn't realise that was our main objective.
