If Seymour was on £150,000 as stated in the press I am sure Ellis is on a lot more.
Sorry I forgot Ellis turned down more money from other clubs because he joined Hull FC to win silverware.   |

John Connelly, Terry Paine or Ian Callaghan would be a better and kinder comparison. Although they had to wait 43 years for their medals. Nowadays the whole squad gets one in world cups. |
