His kicking would, and just having another option would have eased the pressure of Dobson. We'll never know.

| I have not seen the game on TV but from the stand I thought most played well. Against an FC side that I still fancy to win the competition (had a bet on them at the start of the season) Dobson was not at his best & as someone has posted he is maybe taking to much on himself ? Ianson will need more game time but I think we should stick with him. I also think Hodgson will come good later in the season as he gains in fittness at super league level, I do think he should have had a bit more time on the pitch today, My only real worry is Scott Murrel who I realy rate as a Rovers player, but where do you play him? He has a real good rugby brain but he just has no pace, every thing else is there but he is not a hooker except as a stop gap. I think his real value to the club is as a bench player. as he is of use in covering a lot of positions. Finaly I thought Netherton was rightly named as our man of the match he put in a great show today. anyway roll on Monday as I am waiting to see who plays & hopefully pick up a win. Well done FC hope they knock lumps out of Warrington for us.

quality post. ( apart from the fc bit, they will make the playoffs, and if they play really well could win a game, but they do not have the strike players to go the distance)
i like murell at 13 where he can graft and be a runner ( he comes onto a ball ok ). we had galea and newton 2nd row last year when we were playing really well

Have faith, you have a quality squad who can be as good as they can be awfull come the buisiness end of the season they will come good( Even Agar wont mess them up). As for the robins I think next year will be our turn (maybe a good cup run if we can put the Giants out in the next round) It will be interesting to see how FC & Robins go against the wolves it will give us an idea as to each others form (or lack of it). I am not to down about today with abit of hard work on our timeing we wont be far off.

I really don't fancy us against Warrington. Not after the effort we had to put in today and them having a stroll in the park against Salford.

hats of to rovers pack today. all were fantastic against "the best pack in the league"'"
Never mind, he's still got his film star looks

if we do win it will be because it's the worst Warrington team to have ever played at the KC.

If Lauaki is a penalty machine then what is Newton, thought he was very lucky to get the calls from ref in first half during his tussles with Lauaki and if there is any justice he will miss a game for the charge on Tansey.'"
Luaki is a penalty machine and again ill discipline, probably why Agar took him off and kept him off before he was sent off.

Apparently he suffered a concussion, so was unable to return.

| Don't blame Dobson. Everyone knows he is going to get the ball and can therefore set their defence to neutralise him. Its the support cast that is the problem. If IAnson and Murrell were any attacking threat at all they would create uncertainty in the opposition defence and give Dobson more options. As it is they can be safely ignored as the non threats they are leaving Dobson to do it on his own. What a great move to get rid of Crook without having any options as a replacement.

Rovers knew he has a short fuse, and took cheap shots at him,no wonder he lost it,an elbow in the chops tends to do that.
That jerk in the middle had it in for him as he stepped on the pitch.
But we have gone off topic a bit.

| I just cannot believe that you put up one bomb only. I was bricking over Dobson's kicking, but it never happened. Strange!
