Says to me that you have plenty of grafters with little impact. Suprised you havn't got a single player avaraging over 7 metres, maybe Clinton will change that?
Without wanting to turn it into a pi55ing a contest, this is Hull's to compare:
Epalahame Lauaki -9.03
Mark O'Meley - 7.95
Ewan Dowes - 7.45
Willie Manu - 7.36
Craig Fitzgibbon - 7
Lee Radford - 6.5
Danny Tickle - 6.22
Peter Cusack - 6.02

How do these figures compare for instance with the Crusaders?

Is that a genuine question or a sly dig? I suspect the latter.
The only sides better than Hull (whole team not just forwards) are Wigan and Warrington, both by a matter of a couple of mm per carry. However both of those have made more clean breaks than Hull so I suspect that Hull currently have the most dominant pack in terms of m/c in Superleague atm.

We have, Peter Fox currently averages 8.03m.
Fox was our top metre maker last year. This says more about our exit set strategy than it does about our forwards.

Says nothing to me. Hall's try on Friday night alone will distort averages over such a small number of games. Fox is continuing to do a cracking job for Rovers and is one of a small group who, so far have not let their standards slip from last season.
As usual, a potentially sensible debate about Rovers players turns into a EDIT contest due to EDIT like yourself.

| Fair play to Fox, considering he hasn't made many breaks that is good going. However, this is about forwards, if you are having to rely on the likes of Fox to carry your pack forward then that just backs up my point abount your pack lacking power.
Most teams have at least a couple forwards who scatter defenders and put their side on the front foot, you have to hope Clinton does this for you because so far you don't seem to have any.

We didn't have any that fit that description last season either. Fozzard was supposed to but rarely did, partly due to him covering Vella's absence for the 1st half of the season. An impact prop is something we have lacked since our promotion. Aizue could do this to a certain extent, as could Ryan Tandy in 2007, but on the whole its a type of player we have lacked for some time. Time will tell if Clinton is up to the task.

You started it by bringing up Fox's stats. I gave a like for like stat blowing yours away. Of course wingers are going to have better stats than forwards
