bet he'd be really chuffed to read this drivel
he needs support right now from the club, fans and family not a threat of being booted out, very loyal i must say'"
Where has anyone stated that this is what they want to happen?

| Legitimate question really, could probably of waited 48hrs or so though.
Think the extent of the injury needs to be known before any decision are made, this will probably be a week or two.
Until then Chev will need the support of those around him and the club.
Absolutely horrific.

| The following has just peen posted on the rovers forum
Just to let evryone know, Chev's operation went well last night, he's awake this morning and in good spirit. I spoke to a nurse on his ward in Leeds Royal Infirmary who informed me he may need a 2nd operation but they won't know until the doctor/surgeon has been to see him today. I'll be going to vsit him at some point this week so I will pass on any well wishes. When I hear from Chev (when he is allowed his mobile phone on) I will update further.

| As pointed out, Walker doesn't take up a quota spot, so there would not be any point to de-registering him and paying out his contract. Hopefully he'll be back playing at some point next season.
I think everyone associated with the club should just focus on giving him all the support he needs on the road to recovery.

You can't really say untill you know how bad it is. He could be back for the start of the season, or, god forbid, it could be career threatening. Lets just hope he gets well soon.

You can only register 25 players so if Walker is one of them Rovers will have to make do with a squad of 24.
He will definitely be de-registered until such time as he is fit to play again.

| If Chev is de-registered until he's fit again I wonder if Stan might get another year?

Where have I said anywhere we should get rid of him? All im saying is that its possible that the club will consider it. And, as this is a discussion board about the affairs of hull kingston rovers, i think its a fair point to raise.

Have some compassion, It's not a valid point to raise less than 24 hours after a bloke has snapped his leg and could see his career facing ruin.
Get the surgerys out the way first and let the medical staff give the poor bloke a timescale on his recovery

Its a legitimate point to discuss imo regardless of how long after the game it is.

Well you are clearly an Idiot. He's not quota, he's not the only player we have in what most consider to be the most vital position in a Rugby League side and it's not the middle of the season. The 'James Webster Scenario' simply doesn't apply
Like I said, he's got another operation on Wednesday and then he'll begin a long road to recovery. A decision will be made once Chev and Hull Kingston Rovers as a club are given a time scale to his recovery.
I wish him all the best and hope he's back playing for Hull KR alot sooner rather than later instead of hoping he's cut loose

1. Thats a personal insult (AUP)
2. That is a total misconseption of what i have said. Not once have i given my opinion about what i think should happen. The only opinion I have given is that I wouldnt be surprised if it did happen.

| Cool down every one.
The OP has a valid point albeit the timing could have been better before it was raised.
