Quote: Wellsy13 "So he leaves one club that finished second and moves to another that haven't?
He leaves one club that he'd just appeared in two finals with, winning one, and would have appeared in a third, for a club that hasn't even made the playoffs yet?
He leaves one club where he was playing the best rugby of his career in a competitive team with talks of GB honours for another where he is constantly needing to be disciplined because he thinks he's the messiah and now everyone seems to have forgotten who he is with no international talks?
A move that got him suspended by the RFL and hated by a large proportion of the city'"

He left one club that he feels was in decline for one on the up.
He left a club that is sliding down quicker than a prostitutes underware for one going up quicker than a NASA rocket launch.
He left one club that showed the biggest decline in 2008 for the one that showed the most improvement in 2008
He left a club currently in 9th for one in 2nd
He left a club that signs 32 yr old has been scrumhalf for one that signed an up a coming 22yr old scum half.
He left a club that has had more coaches passing through than the Hull interchange for one with the current longest serving and saught after coaches in S/L
He left a club that has won 3 S/L derbies for one that has won 6
He left one club with fans living in the past for one with fans living in the present!
He left the cities No1 side for one that has become the Cities No1 side.

In hindsight I think he made the right choice icon_lol.gif

Things really are on the slide at Rovers.

First team and academy teams both in second place and our reserves just outside the top four .......we really are in decline icon_biggrin.gif

Omen's comments: all about the present

Result: Omen wins

Maybe he didn't want to play for you anymore. Can't blame him really when you look at your board and your subsequent form. Maybe I'm setting you up here to tell me how good your merchandising operation is, but you can't argue with facts that suggest as an individual he got out just before the rot set in.

Think from a performances on the pitch perspective him leaving was actually the cause of our current issues. No playmaker since he went.
