Just a word of warning, Omari Caro had potential too....

Every player has potential upto a certain point, just not sure who spotted much in Caro apart from his pace, even now that looks like it has gone!

To be fair Caro looked pretty good in our first few games, scored some decent tries and had pace that we really needed. He seemed to collapse after the Salford debacle and has never got it back.

When it was been bandied about a lot in pre-season, I did wonder if 'potential' would end up being a dirty word when people realised it is a way of making jam tomorrow (maybe) and inexperience and inconsistency today sound fun and exciting.
With nearly 500 NRL games between them, the arrivals of Weyman, Costigan and New Ginger Kris (NGK) mean I'll be buying shares in 'proven' this autumn.

The way he bottled that try sticks in my head. Its like hes played every full match since then with that level of confidence. How will he get it back is what I wonder.. he was dropped and sent to Gateshead, since hes come back nothings changed

Evidence being when he should have gone down the touchline.. came back inside. Alex Brown over him any day for me.

Although I think Salter is close to being made into jam so thats a positive.

Rumours in St Helens that Saints have already sounded out Jordan Cox for a move in 2015 and already spoke to his agent confirming our interest. Apparantly we did the same with Amor but had to move now instead cus Wakefield where selling to Widnes.

Oooo,good rumour. However (bless him) I have huge doubts that Jordan could find his 'arris with both hands let alone appoint himself an agent. Besides, Adge sponsors him so he's rolling in clover already over in East Hull.

Are they all English mate?? reason I ask is because of someone posting about another overseas spot being made available by the RFL for development nations??

I think there'll be a number of clubs who are keeping an eye on him but I expect him to sign an extension next year going by what I've heard.

I don't blame Beaumont for going to you guys because at the time, our Chairman's comments left the club in a great deal of uncertainty so Beaumont did what's best for him. I don't think he's a big loss in particular though he could have helped with our strength in depth I suppose.
