I agree Rich Hornes strength is not the long passing game however a fully fit Rich Hornes running game blast Cookies out of the water.

Its why they were so successful as a half pairing dont you agree?

The competition did not have the strength in depth it has now so what was then a great set of props in Carvell, Dowes, King & Thackray would now be regarded as poor. I just don't rate Richard Horne and never have.

Disagree about Rich Horne. Carvell will also play in the 4 nations this year!

The salary cap means the talent pool is now more spread and every team can spend the same so the quality of the league has actually dropped initially IMO. The bigger teams no longer get ALL the top players, the cap wont allow it.

International results would also suggest a drop in standards.
