32067.jpg I enjoyed visiting Craven Park a hundred times more than the KC.
Hull KR supporters generally seem to be a much more genuine lot than the West side of the city and unlike the KC there was never any threat of anything 'kicking off'
I'm sure these comments will annoy genuine Hull FC supporters, but unfortunately your neighbours show how supporting your team is done correctly.:32067.jpg |

| Rhys the beast doesnt have to wait til October at all. Said last night he's desperate to stay and his contract will be finalised in the next week or 2. The kid is an awesome talent. Ive not seen a 20 yr old with potential as good as his for a long time and he will be big star in the game.
SmokeyTA, i would suggest you watch the other 6 games you missed before making a judgement. You dont play for Aussie Schoolboys if your 'average'

TBF whilst its nice to see your club actually doing something at youth level (and only because you have to), not one of them are a product of your own youth set up.
BTW who is your U-18's coach and PPM???

Is this like Scotty Wheldon not being a product of your academy with 5 more players to boot?
Wheldon started off at Hull KR yet I'm sure you'll class him as a product of your academy and quite rightly so. Maybe you should get a grip on life. They left their respective clubs for one reason or another, like wheldon for yourselves.
Rovers have brought the said players on. FFS Welham is going into his 4th season at KR so surely his development in the past few seasons is down to KR? Netherton his third and Chaz I'Anson his 2nd.

HKR have a youth setup to develop young talent from this region just like FC, I get the feeling Morgan just isn't prepared to let Lovegrove leave the club as he feels like many Rovers fans including myself that he could be big!!
All the top young rugby league talent in this region has gone FC's way in recent times, because FC were the only Super League side and had the pick of the bunch.
We need time to bring youth through our system and into the first team, the young rugby league talent in the region will now become more evenly split between the two clubs.
Rovers have just given Welham and I'Anson both young british local talent a chance in the big time, and our youth setup produced one of the best players currently in British rugby league in the form of Jon Wilkin.

Probably doesn't want to admit that Hull KR has produced the best Hull born player that is currently playing in SL.

Judging by the person running our academy and community set up my guess is Peter Levy or James Websters Mum.

| Im sure Mallinson will help out with the academy now, alongside a certain Mr Dunn with his youth development skills.

Tyrone smith played for the Aussie schoolboys, and hes pretty average
and wasnt this the same Aussie schoolboys as Dimitri Pelo played for, the first to get beat by the GB equivelant in a long long time
if he is so awesome it makes you wonder why he didnt get a game at St George when they lost all their centres this season

Scrawl all the negatives you like, the fact is we have watched him improve for us with every game, he has taken to SL quite well and is big, strong and skillful and I reckon he will only get better. At 20 yrs old he has got to be worth a contract and I would not bet against him becoming a top SL second rower with time.
