You prate on inconsistently about all sorts of things. Mainly what is/isn't a swear word.





In fact, there is no such thing as a swear word. It all stems from those irritating middle classes in the Victorian era who took offence not at the word, but at what it represented. Those words then became taboo.



For example, The actual verb for "to have intercourse" is "to F..."



The noun for a child without a father is literally a "B...."



The old English verb for the act of urination is "to P..."



Two or three centuries ago all these words would have been used freely to describe their literal meaning as they [iwere[/i the actual words within the English language to represent their respective meanings. I personally think it is a travesty of history that our beautiful language has been ized and edited by a minority of people with overdeveloped sensibilities. Ironically it is they who are responsible for the introduction of vulgar substitutes like Pee, to make love, and Number Two.



Their modern day equivalents are also fond of serving desserts after dinner in the lounges of their homes, so deserve no credence.
