That sounds unlikely, frankly. Are other players going to be prevented from playing by this ongoing investigation? Charges would have to be brought, at very least, by either the police or NRL for a player to be suspended. And that'd make the press.
I suppose it might feasibly put a visa-application on hold, which would be pretty serious. Or maybe his ex-team-mate is on a wind-up.

I didnt say he couldn't play. Police enquiries usually insist that anyone under questioning is stopped from leaving the Country. However if he is in Tonga this may disprove that theory, unless they were conditions that were stated?

Suspect the Tonga thing was just something WM chucked out to a credulous journalist. Can't see any logic in it. Still, I've been wrong before.

What fun this is, Mr D. The fact that it fits with everyone else getting their visas already and the half-@rsed comments like "I suppose I'm still going" by Mason in the Aussie press do make a compelling conspiracy theory.

MrsB, we only read the same stories/papers you do so you will get the same inside track that we all do, if and when he does come, then im guessing well all see it in the papers pretty much at the same time. dont worry yourself too much over it......
