We have a lot of young players next year - there'll be a lot of responsibility on the likes of Lunt, Tilse, Scruton, Blair and Ellis when the going gets tough.

I would personally have been happier if the loan move didn't come on the back of a contract extension at FC. There is no real incentive for him to bust a gut for us now, whereas he may have found an extra gear if he was trying to impress suitors for a 2018 deal.

He's a young player at the beginning of his career, trying to establish a reputation. If he's cack for us, that'll hardly put him on the fast-track to a regular starting spot for Hull or anybody else, except back in their under23s.

I assume Hull have signed the deal so as to stop us getting him if he does play well this year. It means if we do like him and want him next year FC will be due a signing on fee.
