Going off my memory of the 1-17 - Mantellato, Salter, Campese, Kelly, Horne, Larroyer and Donaldson.
Obviously there's a couple more in Boudebza and Shaw.
Minns might be ahead of Salter for some. But Shaw might be ahead of Dixon, so swings and roundabouts. 7 would be more accurate than 4 IMO, though everybody has injuries and I would not pretend all 7 are world beaters.
The issue is our depth, or rather our lack of it. That is an issue in terms of quality and being able to freshen things up. 3 more fit, SL quality players and we'd be coping better.
Doing alright for props, in contrast to last year.

I'm not in the "Tilse is rubbish brigade" but I just really cannot understand his performances.
Against Leeds, I'm pretty sure he took two drives in more than one set, and then to go to a total of six in a full game is just unfathomable.
Maybe we need to shove a scotch bonnet up his Iestyn before every game.

| Quote: Burtons Forearm "It's a good read this thread...with a few exceptions.
Last night Catalan were excellent...helped by some eccentric officiating. Best team we've played. Myler has a kicking game!!! Stewart was exceptional. He marked Blair out of the game. Thought our forwards held their own despite the score. Without Blair we were hopeless with the ball. The other 2 pivots don't have the ability to play catch up rugby.
Our problem is 3 poor coaching appointments on the trot. Webster has improved us....a bit.
These coaches have all recruited poorly. Cats Wire and Widnes recruited to complete a balanced squad. We have not.
Mulhern Minns Greenwood show real promise for the future. Clarkson....pah.
I believe I may have advocated for Dixon in the past and he is an exceptional runner of the ball but......last night he bottled out of defensive duties almost every time. He's shot at the moment and Cats exploited him like Leeds couldn't.
Maybe Oakes gets a go against Oldham.
Why.....why....WHY can't we get Sio in the game.
Where did Marsh hide last night.
We need some surgery for next season to not be bottom 4 again.
Well get some more beatings this year. Well win some. The coach shouldn't publicly make excuses...real or not..for a 40-0 beating at home. He should say publicly it is unacceptable. Wane wouldn't tolerate it Ferguson Mourinho etc. Webster shouldn't either or the players will lose confidence in themselves and him.'"
I love this post BF. Right on the money in pretty much every respect.
I especially like the last para about our coach's excuse, but without reference to to**ers from football. There was no excuse for last night's lame duck effort. Certainly not tiredness or thin squad and for those who want a graphic illustration of how to beat fatigue and injuries and take it to a team at the top of the tree, look at the effort and intensity put in by Saints in the first half of their game on Sky tonight against Wire. We just didn't perform, we went back to being lateral in attack and soft in defence and Cats were unrelentingly good at exploiting our predictability.
We need to learn fast and move on.

| Was it Freudian of Eddie On Sky last night when after four minutes of commentary he referred to James Webster inadvertently as James Waster?

Of course they did. They're the 2016 treble winners. Haven't you heard?

You can't carry the ball when you don't have it goose. On for the first 20. For 11 of those we didn't touch the ball.
Whilst he was on he helped us stem the tide in the middle.
I'm beginning to really like Tilse. Takes 3 to handle him. Can pass and play. Dominates contact.
Compare him to that charlatan Pritchard. 26 tackles is a Quarter of what that bearded fake has managed all year.
On Frank....Jordan Thompson AND Mark Sneyd have managed more tackles and tackle busts than Frank this year.
Please give Tilse and Campese a break while Frank wobbles about stealing a living.

Still hurting, eh?
Just face it, Tilse is a donkey.
Pritchard would get in your team on one leg.
