It's unfortunate. But it's been a failure. Luck plays a big part in signing players like campese. We just ain't that lucky.
We still have cap space left. Enough to sign one maybe two players. Why hasn't this been used? Or is the club doing a Wakefield and using it up when it really matters??
We could do with a Puletua and Chisholm right now.

Why spend money just for the sake of it? There clearly isn't the available quality in the market, given we have zero room for manoeuvre in the overseas market. |

I was called a ships anchor when I intimated he should call it a day last time so won't say it again. I really want to be wrong but he's busted. If I'm wrong I'd be delighted as he's the best player I've seen in red and white for a while. |

Agree and disagree. Disagree that he's finished, but agree that we won't get many more than say 10 games from him this season.
He'll be OK but it will be an uncomfortable watch seeing him crunched and tackled and hit late several times every game to see if he gets back up and continues.
My optimistic side says he ain't quite at the Jonny Lomax bone china stage yet, but my practical side says he ain't far off, he's a huge gamble that has backfired on us and isn't worth the long contract and sizeable salary as things stand. |
