| Great win and im gutted I never went, nothing better than an away victory!
Defence was awesome especially our scramble defence when Leeds threw the ball about wide and putting in those long cross field kicks. Loads of missed tackle which is the norm with us but as a unit they all covered for each other. The most impressive thing for me was our line speed, quickest I have seen all season.
Think we got a fair bit of luck with our first try and I think it would have been chalked off it went to the video ref but that said it was good to get a call going our way after recent months.
Tough to pick a MOTM as it was a great team effort!

Caro had a mixed game, did some good stuff but also some bad, I actually thought Gleeson was pretty poor which wont have helped Caro.

Just look who Caro was up against, he is a young lad short of experiance & confidence at this level also forming a new centre wing partnership He will only get better. For me Gleeson has been soild (as have our whole back line)

| Quote: Hessle Roader "If Mr. Burns acts like a rugby player and not the village idiot, then you have every chance of winning a game. I thought he was tremendous last night. Well played Rovers, that was a great win.'"
Last night was basically what Burns has been doing for the last 2 months. Comments indicating that he's a liability would appear somewhat misguided.
His defensive attitude rubbed off of his team mates last night. A great night out.

| Travis burns was outstanding, for me he is our best player, 110% effort week after week and epitomises what you want from a player. On the down side occasional brain fart as last week but this is down to his will to win and passion. When you look at some of the overseas signings for all clubs, how many turn up and give their all for the cause ?

| Outstanding effort, ashamed to say I'd written us off before the game
Great try from Rhys, I was having flashbacks to 2007 at the KC when he steamrollered Briscoe

| Good defence(*), enthusiasm and Dobson's nous won you that game.
Well ... that and Leeds' inability to think during five (?) consecutive sets on your line.
But you can only play what's in front of you.
You were surprised and so were we, so congratulations.
(*) n.b. Not blaming your lads for Silverwood's interpretation of ten metres in the latter stages.

| Credit where credits due , haven't seen it but sounds like an outstanding performance on the back of the Derby defeat. Could well now get a home tie in play offs as would expect you to win your last two, although Widnes could now be tougher than expected as they will also want to back up their heroics against Wire.

Well done Widnes
and...??
Saw the Widnes game and they were terrific, and commented as such afterwards. I along with I would guess the majority of Rovers fans expected you to be soundly beaten at Headingly last night. As this proved not to be the case I've given you the plaudits which that performance deserved, now sets it up for a good game between the two of you in a fortnnights time. 10pm Thurs I would have said Widnes win, now I think you may nick it, on the basis that Widnes have nothing to play for.
2 claps to Widnes as they won with 12 men

| Very good performance, Leeds just couldn't break rovers defense albeit Leeds looked clueless at times. Your big problem is next year for me, who is going to replace dobbo. Shame you couldn't keep him with the good signings you have made.

| 3 days since the Leeds match and I'm surprised Dave K and the leech's "posters by proxy" haven't "wondered what Zod thought about the game".
I can only assume it's because we won and won well...
Anyway, great effort by the whole team from 1 to 17.
"Bringing through youth" and "the future is bright" are the usual stock buzz-phrases used by Super League clubs nowadays but I don't think there's any coach developing and improving young players in the game quite like Craig Sandercock is doing right now - the improvement of some of the players is staggering - it not just a case of them "coming in and doing a job" or "not letting anyone down"; the likes of Green, Walker, Cox and Salter actually won us the game against the reigning champions on their own muck despite defending on their own line for large parts of the game.
Regardless of which players come or go, we are only going to get stronger from now on now the majority of fans are finally appreciating what a top coach we have and also that we now have some real financial clout behind the club.
The competition is all about the here and now and I'm very hopeful we'll finish in the top-six and have a real crack at giving the play-offs a real shake up for the first time since our return to the top-flight because there is now a depth of players within the squad who can stand up and deliver in high-intensity rugby league games.
