| Personally I'm amazed by the result. We had no right to win that game with the players that we had out. It was an awful performance by Rovers, some of the defending was awful. Players like Dobson, defensively may as well not have being on the field at times.
Hull KR, from my point of view need to desperately have a clear out like we are doing.

| Well were do we start? No fight, passion or thought! The team from a month ago where has it gone ? McDonut Webster Murrell disinterested,Galea Clinton finished ! Last 2 games Mika has been far and away the star performer, paea always gives his all but is more potent from the bench and O hara cannot be faulted.
Taylor carrying a knock so less effective,Josh since his involvement in the England set up hasnt been the same player.
I know all wont agree with me but when are fans going to realise that Golden Boy Blake is not all that,if he is not fit he should not be in the team,i know he had a nasty injury but he is at least a stone overweight and in my opinion hiding. He is on top money but seems to be absolved from criticism, poor old Sam latus gets absolute pelters and granted he not good enough but is on a fraction of what Skeltons loving GREEN is.
Lastly Sheldon get your head out of your backside, best team won fair play but please dont just see things that happen to your players. What about Bungelow elbowing Graeme Horne.
Wake up Rovers!

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

He went OK, certainly didn't look out of place (then again, I probably wouldn't have and I haven't played for about fifteen years!) he certainly seems to have the physical attributes. It hasn't been easy because we were truely abysmal against Salford and fairly terrible last night.

Wow, you've got some guts saying that given the penalty count and the incident on Turner.

| We basically continued right from where we left off against Salford. Which was simply not good enough to win the game.
The scoreline flattered us somewhat.
Hull have been better than us in all 3 games this season. Scoring 98 pts and when you consider some of their selection problems they've had it's a pretty embarrassing return, overall.
IMO we've produced some of our best performances when Hall has been at 6. Green just hasn't kicked on since returning.

Reading t'other board about the Chairman's programme notes, doesn't exactly paint the picture all is well in the camp either.

| I was actually impressed with Mika last night. In the right hands he'd be devastating.
Summary:
Dobson is just a turnstyle.
Paea is a classic 10 minute prop. A couple of runs and that's all you get.
Green is overweight and probably fed up of carrying the team.
Cut Galea loose early. His heart isn't there.
The only passion I saw from Rovers was Sandercock's little tantrums in the stand. At one point he looked like he was holding back tears.
Tickle and Moa are massive losses for us. The scoreline could have been really embarrassing had they played. Our forwards were immense last night and really battered you.

"Whilst on the subject of developing our own players, what I do strongly resent is backing them from a young age, investing in them, training them up and seeing them fall under the 'control' of certain agents who look to peddle them around to suit their own needs - i.e money. In some instances, and we have one here at the moment, they actively look to engineer an exit for players from one club to another where they have cosier relationships, by making stupidly ridiculous demands or refusing to negotiate at all"
I wonder who Howes wants Taylor to play for next ??

Always count on a FC fan first with the info ....
Ha! Yeah, I actually went and read it on their board first.
Agents will always meddle, it's frustrating, but that's their job.
I agree about the player announcements, in't olden days players signed for clubs and clubs agreed to keep quiet about it, now every Tom, Dick and massive thicko has a Twitter feed that's impossible.
Personally I can't see why players announce it, it leaves them wide open to accusations of not trying for their current team and having one eye on next season. But then, we're talking about big daft lads here so shouldn't really be surprised.

| A bad day got worse for me as I fell off my boke on Preston Rd. If the owner of the red car I hit the back of (sorry, didn't get the make or model) is reading this and I damaged the car in anyway, pm me. Cheers.
