| Rovers will go into this game ont he back of a terrible display against cas and will meet a Hull side full of confidence and who are getting a couple of players back! With hull flying high in the table and rovers struggling for form i cant see anything other than a home win by at least 20 points! I also forgot to add that Hull will be unleashing their new signing Pitts on us aswell and we know how good hes meant to be! When i read this back it makes me question why im going????? lol

| I fear the worst.
Without Webster our right edge defence is crap, mainly because Horne isn't a centre and then he has been playing with inexperienced wingers, Manu, Yeaman and Briscoe will tear us apart down there.
Our only hope is that our pack do the exact opposite of what they did on Friday and play like we know they can.
We desperately need Hall, Webster, Galea and Green back.

For that reason i expect rovers to up their game and maybe get a result, derbies never have been and never will be easy to call and i personaly cant call this one with any real conviction.
Although Hull may have Yeaman returning and their new signing also making an appearance i still think it will be won in the forwards, derby games are also as much about
mental strength as physical and thats why i believe a derby is not always the ideal game to come back from injury or make your debut as in the case of Pitts.

If both teams were at full strength it would be an easy Hull win. Our team is decimated with multiple internationals out so you're in with a chance and may well take the points

Didn't do Gleeson any harm in last years derby, and he wasn't match fit.

Not yet, but now that Rovers have sold out the North I reckon they will open it.

Players get through absences on adrenaline in a first game back usually.
Lack of genuine match fitness shows more during the couple of games after.

| It will be a close game, they mostly are. One thing that's got to go in our favour is the fact that Morgan will play no part in Rovers game preparation. One thing Morgan could do was to out wit Agar (any Wakey fans reading this, tough) and get the Rovers playing well from the start.

Fortunately for Rovers we heard a lot about this being your strongest squad depth of the SL era and FC's was "paper thin". Only one possible outcome in that context. Merde.

As mentioned already, Hudgell will be in charge of the dressing room and he's pretty darn good.

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |
|
| Never make Derby predictions and the bookies must hate this game. In over 30 years watching the Derby i have seen far to many against the odds scores to even contemplate calling a winner on Friday.
Old Craven Park in 84, New Craven Park in 91 and the KC Stadium in 2007 are 3 that stand out as against the odds results for me.
I have seen international players play like Sunday League amateurs and so called average players put in International class performances over the last 3 decades.
Its all down to which team performs better on the day. Lets hope both teams perform and we see the cracking high quality Derby which we all know our teams can produce.
