I'd have thought NZ would leave him alone after his poor stint as national coach.
EDIT; didn't realise he coached NZ in 2005 when they beat Aus 24-0 in the Tri nations final, Australias first loss in a series or tournament since 1978. |

I've a mixed opinion, if we are being linked with Kear then I want Morgs to stay, if there's someone out there like McClennan that is happy to take the post then let him go.

Pretty much agree with that last suggestion and for what its worth i think thats just what Rovers will do, i also believe it will be another Aussie coach because love them or hate them they have proved over many years that they simply are the best overall, just look at the current super league table, all or at least most of the top teams are coached by an Aussie where as the bottom teams with the odd exception are run by coaches of English origin, the same applies for previous years.
The last English coach, unless i have forgoten someone, to have any real success was Brian Noble with Bradford, i dont know who is out there and available but if and when Morgan does vacate his position i believe it will go to someone from outside the UK and possibly with no previous Rovers club connections . |
