| Good work by rovers getting the stand extended at no cost. Presumably people from the well and the North stand will stay there and only new fans will go in the East?

£1.5m according to the HDM. Can't see it being a problem

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |

So we can expect a full stand in April then eh?

As a Wigan supporter who travels to all away games unless I'm on holiday, I find the pricing for the away fans at both Hull clubs extortionate particularly at HKR, to sit out in the open.
Here are the Wigan prices, held at 2009 rates.
www.wiganwarriors.com/MidContent.asp?cid=15
Also for Wigan season ticket holders get to watch the U18 academy and U20 home games for free.
I've just posted something similar on the Wakefield site as they have increased their prices from £18 to £20 for the 2010 season.
How can they justify an 11.1% increase in times of recession?

You have an unsustainable business model and can't get to one without the RFL's handout. Sounds pretty similar to me.

That is total bollox. It's common sense to get funding from other available sources other than directors pockets.
At the end of the day you are "Hull SL Ltd" - a manufactured SL franchaise under the guise of a now defunct RL club, created with the aid of a free handout of £1M.

Au contraire. Your chairman has been very clear that you can't continue to sustain losses of £450k a year and that gates of 10,000 are required. Rovers are in debt to the tune of £3m+ and therefore can't afford to fund getting to 10,000 gates themselves. They have therefore got a handout from the RFL (and the NHS) to get there. Not that this addresses the full £450,000 annual shortfall, obviously, but it's a start. Hope you lot recognise the RFL's generosity next time you're bleating about unfair disciplinary outcomes.

Rovers fans regularly complain that they are hard done to by the RFL. This latest news shows that if anything they're being favoured.

The difference as has already been said, we're not daft enough to pay a tenner for the south stand never mind £20
I still dont understand though how the rovers fans can make the assumption that gates will jump up significantly once this extension is built when you cant sell out the existing ground.

Nope, we have an opinion on a rovers matter on a rovers forum. Nothing to do with FC though, hardly obsessed. Guess we're just both highly opinionated.
