| Quote: Mrs Barista "The commitment is that Rovers fund 50% discount. So if FC increased prices in line with Rovers % increase for FC, i.e. a +70% premium vs what everyone else is charged, that would be £34 at full price, meaning a discount of £17 each to be paid by Rovers.
You would have to increase the price for the season and choose to discount for games other than the derby, we did not INCREASE for the derby, we just didn't discount, big difference.

It's renewed every year with a "nominal fee". I'd imagine this "nominal fee" is dependent on the success of the whole thing.
What I don't understand is if people sign up [inext[/i year, will their season pass prices be frozen at the extortionate 2010 prices for 2011?

No, turns out if you buy a Club Rovers membership now, it lasts two years (as does the season pass discount).

| Quote: Mick Cranes Sidestep "Just a question. Saw the tickets that said a derby ticket for £8 (or was it £8 off) - that assumes Hull charge £16 for the North Stand next year - this year was £20 for behind the sticks - so has someone got the sums wrong?
If FC wanted to stick it to Rovers (in a South terrace sort of way), they could put Rovers all in the West upper and charge £26 a ticket - thus increasing the outlay by rovers as a club and making those paying half price shell out £13 each.
I think there is a serious risk that this could backfire on your board - if the FC board do a south terrace on you.
Wondered what your views are - not trolling - just wondered given the mixed reaction to the scheme.'"
Actually a good point.
Attendance might drop, but the price increase might well balance it, so they'd not necessarily be out of pocket. If there isn't an existing agreement, there is the potential for mischieve and given the poor state of relations between the clubs it could be interesting.
I know why they (Rovers) did it, to get around the scramble for tickets, but perhaps one less benefit and a £50 membership fee would have been wiser, if this is the case.

Given FC only open the upper west for 1 game per year, we could fix the price at the start of the year at say £26 - no need to offer discounts. We could then use the North stand for FC supporters once the upper west is full. Basically giving FC the bottom bowl of the stadium and putting your fans in the top. It does seem a strange offer, but for many the half price derby ticket could be a big benefit - but given we could comfortably give you 7000 tickets, it is not the most unique of benefits and leave Hudge open to being shafted by FC's board.

It only applies to the first 2500 members though IIRC. I do like the idea of pricing the upper West as £30 though and allocating that to Rovers

Aye. They may have already agreed what is happening with Hull, but it isn't difficult to believe that they might not have.
A guaranteed ticket with a fixed amount (rather than %) discount would have been better in that case.
Fiver per head is £12.5k, minus concessionary discounts. Could do without it, but it wouldn't be the costliest mistake ever.

| The quote in the Pdf relating to Freezing passes at 2008 prices states:-
Prices for 2010 2011*
At the bottom of the page the * states for those who join membership by 31/7/2009 for existing Season pass holders and by 16/8/2009 for new Season pass holder and where season passes are paid for by 30/9/2009
I have been onto the shop today as i qualify on the first part- but reading it again it reads as tho I would have to pay in full by 30/9/2009 - they have stated that this not the case and I will get discount on both years and still have the option to pay in instalments and she also mentioned that the 31 July statement is incorrect, and those purchasing after this date will still get discount on both years, although she didnt say when the offer period ended.
