Well i want him to personally succeed, yes.
But I thought adding size to your forwards would of been high on the list for the board and JP in the off-season. Plus you need to find a core of your team and add every season. Not keep buying players that are of similar standard.
My point is, you cannot blame Chester solely.

Look i agree with you, mostly, but sometimes you just have to say 'we are not good enough,' and perhaps build again. God knows FC have had to do that on numerous occasions in the last decade.

| Not really his fault that you lost. He coached you to scoring 3 tries to 2 and has a massive injury list to deal with. I hope he stays

Recruitment has been patchy at best for the last few years, and I agree to some extent that this is it catching up with us.
Chester was given a cleaner slate than most new coaches, but on the other hand asking him to build a squad almost from scratch was a big ask. Tbf, it didn't go that badly in 2015.
Something went badly awry with our preseason for this year. Hudds and Hull are strong teams, but we were massively off the pace in the friendlies. He and we have had a rough trot with injuries, I know. this was a chance to buy some time. The fixture we needed, tbh, an opportunity to get a first win on the board. And it's been missed.
All that's gone, and I'm not in favour of a punitive sacking. On the other it currently feels like he's dug a bigger hole than he's capable of climbing out of. Even if we're finally ready for the start of the season by April, I can't see much (any) prospect of us avoiding the qualifying 8s again. It's just a question of 'what's the best strategy for staying up?'. Continuity come what may, wait and see if we click, or cut our losses and go in another new direction? A pretty bleak set of options.
Still, at least we're shipping fewer points!

| We were shocking today, so we're Wakefield though. Even if CC left who could do anything with that squad, not even Wayne Bennett. it's absolutely leaderless IMO, we were clueless at times.
That game should be a home banker but with this squad and coach there's no such thing anymore

| Who is the idiot who has just claimed your backs are better than ours? The only one I'd consider swapping for his Hull FC counterpart is kelly and only then if he got himself to weighchers first

| Well after watching that garbage today, that's me out until he's gone. Whether that makes me a plastic fan or not, I can't waste my precious time on a Sunday watching us turn out that $hite.

Exactly.
It's not all about Chester, and I don't expect a 180 turnaround in our fortunes if he were replaced.
It's not even about 'fault' or blame. Is he the best available and attainable person to remedy the errors that have been made? It's hard to say 'yes' with much conviction at the moment.

| As I said before, your squad is rubbish. Pretty much any coach in SL would be getting the same results from this squad with the injuries he has to deal with. The blame lies more in the retention and recruitment than coaching

| Chessie has had a very rough hand & I've been prepared to cut him some slack. Until today. I can handle losing but that performance was just desperate at every level. He sounded a beaten man afterwards. Something needs to change.

As I said before, there's a deal of truth in that - although a lot of these players are his signings.
I think something like 9 or 10 wins from 23 shouldn't have been an unrealistic ambition, expectation even. That feels a long way off now. The 'we kept doing the same things in pre-season and kept getting the same results' quote is the one that keeps nagging away at me. What was the innovative approach we took instead? Whatever it was and whoever is in charge in the future, let's never do it again.

It's easy as an FC fan to laugh at your current plight but take the main playmaker and 2 hookers out of any side in SL and they'd struggle (just ask brian mcdermott and paul anderson) so it's not all down to chester IMO. You certainly have a bottom 4 squad so unless someone finds some players from somewhere then nothing much will change no matter who is coaching you
