Brilliant season. Our 3rd in SL and we finish top 4. Well proud of the lads. Disappointed about tonight, on another day we could've got the result. JM was right - aim as high as you can and keep progressing.

There are degrees of success though. Only winning something is truly worthy of celebrating, IMHO. You can take consolation, even satisfaction in other things, but not celebrate.

Hull's 2005 challenge cup win was an achievement worth celebrating, and I am very envious of it.
Their 2006 grand final appearance was something that squad and the club should have taken a great deal of satisfaction in and I am slightly envious.
The 2008 CC appearance was a consolation for a disappointing season.

We aren't celebrating, we're looking on the bright side and putting a season that outstripped most expectations into perspective. But I know you've waited a while, so on you go.

It's not, unfortunately for you, some of us have been around longer than 2007.

I've been a season pass holder at Rovers since 1989 and I'm immensely proud of where my club is now - there was a long time when I thought I'd never witness what I have in the last 3 or 4 years, so your snide comments make no difference, I've never been happier as Rovers fan.
