As far as i can remember Briscoe got injured and missed out on the intrenational match against France, this led to the contract problems ending in him leaving FC. |

Still though the International bonus' cant be that much more £££ can they?
It was speculated Fozzard was on a wedge, dont imagine Fitzhenry to have come over for a small pay packet too.
My guess is Rovers have a figure thats somewhat under the cap maximum that they would like to be at, to start saving a bit more £££ and the Clinton contract would take us over this.
