Thank **** for that ! Did your best to help them in the 2nd half....but thankfully they still lost.

Loads of head high tackles missed against us and awarded one for them that wasn't. Lunt injury before the game was massive. All about Toronto's missing wingers yet we had no Lunt, Blair, Shaw or Justin Carney. But you know, who cares right?

So many things called against us that were ignored when they did same or worse. At least it's out of the way and we are back on track. Leeds away next and we owe them one. Happy with result but reckon wed have won by plenty without Child's help for the mercenaries

Anybody no what happens to Shan Lunt ? Really think we need another good 9 in ower squad Lunt is class when fit but is always injured

That was absolute agony.

Seemed to be played in a weird atmosphere among the players - all jovial and then a few little flare ups.

We won with a few good moments. The overall performance... with a very small number of exceptions you could divide our team into the anonymous and the error prone.

Even complaints about Child are undermined by his decision against Whiting for taking out Ben Crooks. I’ll take it, but wtf?

If we’d lost that we’d have nobody to blame but ourselves - it was just mistake after mistake. Took our chances - but did we have a single sustained spell of pressure all game? Some good energy in defence, considering how much defending we had to do - credit for that. Dunno whether them losing one of their halfs knackered their rhythm - you’d assume it did a bit, in fairness. They must feel like they were mugged.

Massively relieved, but I don’t think i’ve ever felt so unelated after a win. Just knackered. 2 points - enjoy the flight back!

I'm not sure I agree.We have flown to another continent and 5hr time zone difference and played on yet another plastic pitch not even 2 full days after setting off? Factor in Child giving them all but 2 50/50s and manufacturing imaginary penalties to help the RFLs pet project home and we won despite all that.Yes there were lots of errors and some of the penalties were self inflicted but that display from Child could have seen us as good as gone. All about the result and credit to the team for getting it done despite multiple handicaps in home teams favour

Tbf, Toronto had to fly back after playing Halifax - and we had 2 extra days turnaround.

The small plastic pitch I agree with - it’s the same for both teams but they’re familiar with it.

Child did seem to treat them like they were St Helens, but there were a lot of really stupid, obvious penalties from us too.

Hopefully we can get Lunt, Jewitt, Blair and both Carneys fit and firing for the run in, and a few others can refind some form. Atkin was better than most tonight, so it’ll be interesting to see what we do at halfback vs Leeds. I guess McGuire will be keen to play back at Headingley.

....and Leeds have now lost Hall and weren't convincing against Toulouse.
