In the kc friendly o'meley was very average, in fact pretty anonymous and radford had a pretty good game, therefore are fc paying £150,000 for an uglier, worse performing radford when they all ready had the pig ugly sh11t version playing for them..

TBF O'Meley was outstanding on Friday in pretty much all aspects of being a prop. Won virtually every collision, defended like his life depended on it and more often than not got a quick PTB.

So by that logic then, you don't mind O'Meeley earning more than say Houghton,
Cussak and Hall and lasting less time than Clinton on his debut.

Clinton will be a decent signing for Rovers no doubts about it. But you have to remember players of his ability are ten a penny in aussie. Average players in aussie more often than not end up looking top class in SL. But given the choice of him and O'Meley, i'm afraid i'd take the latter every day of the week and twice on a Sunday.

Clinton had 1 year left at Brisbane, so he had £163K in front of him, and was more or less guaranteed to be moved on at the end of his deal. When Rovers offered him 3 years, he would have had to weigh up his market value beyond his Brisbane contract before taking up Rovers offer.

Its nothing but guesswork (and poor trolling) to suggest Rovers are paying him anywhere near that figure. I don't think he will be our top earner, and he certainly isn't the highest paid Aussie in this city

Although we know Clinton asked to be released from a £163,000 a year contract because of the deal on offer at Rovers, O'Meley was OOC at a bottom of the table club, so I'd doubt he could command £150,000 TBH, but clearly you know better.
