| Wont go down with many but personally i would bring Dixon back in for Wardill.
I know he's only young but Wardill had at least a couple of decent half chances for tries against Widnes and didnt take them, we wont have that luxury against FC. Dixons pace (provided he would have caught it) would more thank likely have scored.
Wardill under the bomb is equally as unreliable as Dixon and I cant remember him leaving the ground to challenge for any that Widnes put up to him at the weekend. This is definitely something I think FC will exploit this weekend.
Dixon just edges it for me as he brings more to the attack than any of the other available wingers.

| Any mileage in putting Marsh in at full back to give him game time? Play Ben on the wing (for his goal kicking!) to avoid chucking the young lad in. If Thornley isn't fit maybe we'd be better with a forward at centre than Sio. For me we might as well play Dixon - if it comes off we might get some excitement.
I'm just hoping for no more embarrassments like the last derby / cup. Just lets be competitive and look like a rugby team.
I don't think we've many real options though, unless Campo makes a surprise return we've no game changers to introduce so we've just got to stick to the usual suspects and hope they play like a team that's more than the sum of its parts. Sometimes they do, just hope its Sunday.

| I'd go with an unchanged line up from Warrington away, although I need a late fitness test after consuming 1 too many on Saturday.

I don't want him playing anywhere near this game anyway.

| I know he's only a youngster and he is learning his trade, but Joe Wardill's performance went into reverse against Widnes last weekend. Frankly he had a shocker. He didn't back himself on 3 occasions going for the line and in the process bombed 3 tries most half decent wingers in SL would score. He didn't challenge attacking high kicks put up for him in the corner and he didn't make any effort on defensive high balls to the corner. Then there was his composure meltdown flapping at a bouncing ball, leading to the Thompson try.
Luckily, we had enough overall against Widnes, but against Hull he could be exposed big time and will be a massive liability if he repeats the same or fails to front up better.
Roll on the return of big Josh. As for Dixon in his place, no way, ever, ever, ever.

I don't want to be to hard on him but to me he's bombed a few tries in other matches also he really doesn't back himself but he's young and wouldn't really be playing first team if not for injuries unlike you pickers I'd put Dixon in or even Oaks

No neither do i, just stating as the above questions were asking if he should play on Sunday but it's irrelevant while he is injured

That team would be the strongest line up by far we have been able to field all season and certainly good enough to be competitive.
The only major absentee is Mantellato , ok there's still Larroyer, Salter, Shaw, Dixon, Mulhern (have I missed anyone?) unavailable but it's doubtful if many if any of those could displace those who will be playing.
Joe Wardill in any other season would have been told well done a couple of weeks back and would now be furthering his education again in the COHA. If he plays against Hull he will be targeted and exploited he doesn't need that. Thornley is a highly experienced and prolific try scoring winger so Horne can play at centre and Blair back to his best position in the back row.
I think we might win this game. Hull are a very good team and will be there or thereabouts but like everyone else will have their blips now and again. The mental part is the biggest thing, they have been massively intense - they knew they had to be - in beating Saints & Wigan so however they talk this game up they may not quite have the same edge 3 weeks running. They are due a dip and I just sense Rovers will give them a challenge they don't need.

| I'm out of the 19 due to alcohol poisoning. Those pesky Geordies spiked my Diet Coke with JD.
My head feels like it's had a Frenchman living in it.
