| it's spelt Tetevano by the way - nickname Tets - which sounds like a bit of an insult with a Kiwi accent.

| Unsigned Knights
Zane Tetevano, - big second row or prop aged 22 or 23 - not a fantastic defender but a powerful attacking player
Matt Hilder, - small second row, lock or hooker who defends like his life depends on it - close to 30
Chris Adams, - great hooker who is one of the best defenders at the club and is underated as a hooker. He has played in reserves for 3 years and has had a few games of firstgrade, but a woeful injury record means he has never been fit at the right time - only plays about 10 games a year because of injury.
Neville Costigan, - over the hill, but at his best he played at the very highest level. Brutal defender and decent ball runner.
Timana Tahu, - over 30 and only being offered a second tier contract because he has two 21 year old centres ahead of him at the Knights. Still a classy, classy player who would be the best player at your club if he wanted to have a go.
Siuatonga Likiliki, - one of the most powerful centres I've ever seen - nearly unstoppable near the line - but his aerobic fitness is a worry. 22 years old. Tongan international.
Peter Mata'utia, - fullback, centre or wing who has played some firstgrade over the last few years, but none this year. He is a very skillfull footballer and would be a fantastic buy for any ESL club. 22 or 23.
Anthony Quinn, - just marking time before retirement
Ryan Stig, - quality halfback who has had several man of the match performances in firstgrade, but his injury record is woeful and he may never play again.
Josh Mantellato, - giant 6'6" winger who is also the best goal kicker in the game at any level. kicked at just under 90% last season and was top point scorer in the NSW cup by close to 100 points over his nearest rival. He got his first game in firstgrade a few weeks ago and kicked 3 from 3 from the sideline and scored a try. Unfortunately, he also broke a rib. Italian International.
Craig Gower - trialing for a contract at the Knights.

Newcastle have offered Clint Newton a second tier contract to play reserve grade - you can have him - i'll pay his airfare - one way.

That's your opinion Carlos just like what Roopy said is his opinion. He could say the same about your statement. I would also take his word on NRL players (especially from Newcastle) as he hasn't steered us wrong yet.
Personally I think our centres are good but not NRL good. They maybe good going forward but they're pretty useless when it comes to defending.

| Not every single player who plays in the NRL is neccessary miles better than one's over here it's a total misconception. The standard of the league is higher but it's not on another planet imo. And i watch 5 or 6 games a week. I also don't see what's arrogant about saying he wouldn't be our best player when he doesn't get a game in the NRL.

He's a duel international who was still good enough to play for NSW a few years ago, and frankly, I think he's still our best, even though our current centres have both been shortlisted for SOO in the next few years.
I watched him play last week, and watching him in reserve grade is like watching an adult play under 16s.
He lost his position in firstgrade about 5 weeks ago when he picked up an injury, and the 21 year old who took his place has played the house down.
He is out of favour because he is over 30 and he is a bit of a princess at times, often missing games with minor injuries, but I think he could play SOO 3 and let no one down.

As i've said carlos, it's all opinion. Just because you think your opinion is right, doesn't make it so. With regards to being arrogant, I was talking about your claim that our centres were better than T'ahu. Also what you have said above could be construed as being arrogant also.
With regards to what Roopy has said. He has told us about numerous players from Australia some who have signed for us and some who haven't. The ones that have signed for us, he's been spot on about.
ATEOTD I think we'll stick with the centres we have for next year as I don't think CS sees that area as needing strengthening. Then again, I maybe wrong that's just my opinion.

| Tetevano is obviously living in Australia but his two children are in NZ with their mother.
The chances of him moving to England without them is quite slim...
