| Quote: Robintillidie "I cant remember my first game but would have been about 1963 when my dad started to take me remeber watching the 1964 Cup final against Widnes and the great try Alan Burwell scored. I also remeber watching an A team game when they announced the signing of Frank Foster over the tannoy system.'"
Alan (a friend of my Dad's) came round recently to watch Murryfield Magic - top bloke.

| About 1996, Rovers played Hunslet. Jet and Lightning from Gladiators were there.

| First few memories,
I remember going to a cup final game(Yorkshire Cup?) at Headingley in about 75/76 and we lost to Leeds.
Then remember us winning the Floodlit Trophy against St's,and the next year we lost it to Fc at Boulevard and I clearly remember Fc fans burning a Rovers scarf in threepenny stand,
And then of course the famous 10-5 win at Wembley in 1980.

| 1977 when I was 13, a floodlit game. Went to my first game with my grandad. I just remember walking up into the 'best' stand and being greeted by the greenest, lushest looking surface I had ever seen. Feeling very, very small when all the blokes in the stand stood up every time we got anywhere near the try line and not being able to see anything! And being slid along the seats, well benches as we were in the bit of the stand that had no dividing arms between seats, as the game moved along the pitch. The smell of linament behind the stand. Prior to this I'd sat in my Nana's front room every Sunday with her listening on the radio.

| First game I ever saw was a derby game in the Challenge Cup at the Boulevard. Think it was 1978. Everyone was leaving because rovers were winning and looking like they were going to take the game then Hull scored in injury time to snatch it. Even at that early age I realised the red and white half of the city was fully of snivelling wingers who knew feck all about rugby

| Old Craven Park 60's. Best Stand right at the back, with my girlfriend (now my Mrs). watching the likes of Graham Paul, Cyril kellett, Alan Burwell, Terry Major. Remember seeing Rovers v Wigan and Graham Paul leaving Billy Boston for dead over 40 yard race to the line.
