One FC fan summed it for me saying that he was a bigger loss to them than he was a gain for us.
Cookie's not the only one who's not delivered in my opinion; I think Chev Walker and to some extent Jake Webster have not brought as much as they should have to the team.

When fully fit I think he is a very good player and offers a great deal.

Good post, I think the fact that Horney wasn't very creative and Cookie ran the show was the reason for this, whereas at Rovers' Webbo/Dobson are very creative 7's.

Personaly,from what I have seen of Cooke whilst at Rovers, (I admit mostly on the telly!)I don`t think he has had as big an impact as he did at Hull.Not trolling,just an opinion.
He will forever hold one of the best moments of my supporting time when he touched down at Cardiff.

People underestimate him, we miss his defencive organisation when he doesn't play and he does have a calming albiet not big influence in attack.

I agree with you, but what he did do was play a massive role in keeping Rovers up in our first season.

Bit harsh!! Think cookie wanted your team to be built around his style of play like ours was. This hasn't happened for one reason or another but would assume it's been mostly up to Morgan? Which adds credibility to the theory that he was never Morgans signing??

Not harsh, just reality. I am grateful to Cooke for his time at Rovers, and if Hull fans look back to the Challenge Cup win with admiration, then I'm sure every Rovers fan will look back on that first season with as much if not more admiration.

The fact is though that Dobson has signed a long deal with Rovers, and although the pair work well on the pitch, I think it could step up a few more levels and that won't happen with this pairing.

So for me, if he stays fair enough, but if he goes, it means Rovers are looking to build on this season which even with the last few results, has been a success.

As for who signed/wanted Cooke, I haven't got a clue, can't help you with that one.

Agree to a point certain point. He certainly doesnt seem to fit this team anymore.
