Willa is right we produce some very good youngsters, however some have to be shipped for their own developments/chances.. generally it is a gamble who to let go or keep, plus the decision is reached by who is contracted and for how long in the senior squad.

I just don't agree with all the spin. All these people saying he is an excellent prospect probably have never seen him play.

If we had signed him we would have recieved the same amount of silly comments

He has just been awarded Leeds Reserves Player of the Year. I think that's ground enough to say he's an excellent prospect given the quality players Leeds produce.

The mighty HKR cannot or will not produce their own acadamy players. So it's either the fact that they haven't got the ability to do so, or they find it cheaper and easier to watch other club's young talent and then try to tempt it away.
