If we were going to judge our players on missed tackles then none of them would be ever picked again. I heard the cheer and he was definetly having a bad game and the coach giving him the shepherds crook was as much to protect him as the game We all pay our brass and can boo or cheer as see fit within reason. I don't see him in next year's 17 if all fit or even this year's but he puts on that shirt and represents the club to best of his ability. Maybe a change of scenery may help him like Abdull has done? I have more concern over Mulhern and JK tbh

Exactly what many said/say of Abdull. I never thought he would shine in halfs in SL like he has at London. Is Addy a half? Is he a 2nd row or 13? He certainty shone for Scotland in WC before his big injury. Still time for Addy to step up but will be hard with us after yesterday Every mistake he makes now will be magnified and of course the harder he trys the worse it will get. Im not saying he's a superstar but he is a steady enough type

There might be a bit of squad thickening with that in mind. And for us, we might prioritise depth more next year, as we continue to seek the best balance in the use of our resources.

The top age group is going to be 18s rather than 19s next year, so I think the Reserves league will look a lot like the system we had about 10 or 12 years ago, rather than that of 30 or 40 years ago. i.e. mostly young players on very modest contracts. I don’t think seasoned semi-pro players will be leaving Championship clubs mainly to play for reserve teams. I think that would be mostly destined to end like Danny Langtree’s spell at Hull FC.

If Trout does join us, I think it’d be to help us avoid the drop this year. We were down to 3 props against Cas again. Anything beyond that would depend on him looking like he could be at least competing for a spot in the first 17. I think that is true for anybody about 23 years old or above.

Tomkins Edwards Mcillorum should be looking at a few games surely?Gigot and couple of others maybe also? Then Warrington will probably cop a few bans plus picked up key injuries? As bad as that was for RL in general it could effect us as a team? When do the rfl release disciplinary charges?

The club have signed him untill the end of the season initially, but will be looking to offer him a longer term contract if he can prove himself. He's already has super league experience at Wakefield, plus at 28 has plenty of rugby league experience in general under his belt. From what I've seen of his highlights he certainly looks a decent forward but time will tell whether he can cut it in super league this time around.

Tomkins gets 3 games and Edwards looks like at least 3 so they shouldn't be available against us. Leeds are the big benefactors of the skirmish with few others out this week Might be worth lumping on Leeds this Friday?

Leeds will be a very good bet against Catalans and even better the week after against St Helens reserves (cup final a week later). Put plenty on Wigan against Warrington which is also the week before the cup final.
