Seems odd that the teams with the poorest defences aren't very well represented in the missed tackles stats. For example, Salford, Catalans & Wakefield had only 2 of the 25 worst offenders between them in 2010. How did they let in so many points?

One of those four is Rhys Lovegrove who is also in the top 8 for tackles made. Stats don't always tell the whole story.

On the rare occasions she actually utilises this board for it's intended purpose; to engage in debate, then goes back to her default behaviour of engineering points/quotes out of there context to create a side debate which continually results in numerous and repetitive derailed threads.

All I can say is I'm pleased to see the mods have put an end to her parasite impulses on this board...

agreed MrsB did like to derail threads but sometimes she did speak sense too, and did like a bit of banter i might add. some people are so far up there own s they cant see that.

Mrs B is not able to join us at the moment, so it is currently a moot point. Going in to the new year, we'd like to find a way to retain the banter, humour and openess of the board, without every thread degenerating in a cross-Hull bunfight. The way in which that balance is best achieved is under discussion. There is a determination it won't be drifting back to what it had become recently. Hopefully we can attract back some of the sensible, intelligent posters who've maybe drifted away, while still having a laugh. That'd be good for everyone.

this isnt meant to derail your newton thread, but surely a bit of banter(as long as its not too nasty) is what at least 50% of the people who post/read on here go on rl fans for.if you dont like someones posts surely you can just scroll past it.
im hull but my wifes entire family are red n white(and her uncle is an ex rovers player) and i deliberatley wear a hull shirt at all suitable family get togethers just to provoke a bit of banter. as soon as i walk in i get a chorus of "who are ye" from my nieces which my daughter joins in with and its great for getting barbies/parties going a bit.
let people have a bit if fun

Defo agree as long as people don't get nasty and personal think banter is great
