| Derbies are always difficult to call, historically form goes out of the window..
Out of our 2 games though I imagine it will be easier to get 2 points from the derby than a visit to Hudds, so hopefully we will maintain our form.

| Hull look much improved. Aside from ourselves the 4 teams they have not played yet are Wigan, Hudds, Leeds and Catalans. So the exact extent of the improvement is still open to question. That doesn't mean they won't answer any doubts strongly - we just don't know yet. On the one hand you can only beat what is in front of you, and they have been doing that. On the other I know some Hull fans believe that results have been slightly better than performances, and their squad is being stretched for the first time this year. 6-1-1; unless they have a slump, they should make top 6 from here - winning 9 or 10 of there last 19 would be good enough 5th/6th most likely.
We've shown the odd flicker, but have been more Hyde than Jeckyll. 3-1-5 - I'd take 8th right now, in a heartbeat. More because it'd mean the ship had been steadied, that for the slim chance of reaching the GF. We could really do with a win over Easter, in either fixture tbh. That'd be a proper timely boost.

| I'll take a draw now tbh. Our very thin squad of forwards is being stretched (not bad luck btw, more bad planning/recruitment). Absentees like O'Meley and Moa are not something that we can cover and this will be our downfall which will see us gradually slipping to a more realistic SL position.
As for Friday, If your pack gets on a roll, you could win by a lot. If our very much improved defence can keep on top, your side could "fall away" late in the game.
I personally fear the worst but I always do.

Thats a bit rich when the you manage to win a game...ur shirts are seen all week on Holderness Road. God there must be a stench at KR games when they play!!!

| KR by 10-16 pack too big and strong.
FC young bench hits the wall due to second game syndrome.

| 50/50 for me, maybe 55/45 to Hull with being at Home and some good confidence.
Playing Ok at the moment but not brilliant.
Webster not playing will help us, as he always looks good against us.
If Hall is back, will he play at centre?
Hopefully Hull will have Yeaman and McKinnon back, and maybe Moa, looking forward and dreading this game.

Me too, another day or so & I'll be getting butterflies. I love the atmosphere of a derby.

| Rovers will go into this game ont he back of a terrible display against cas and will meet a Hull side full of confidence and who are getting a couple of players back! With hull flying high in the table and rovers struggling for form i cant see anything other than a home win by at least 20 points! I also forgot to add that Hull will be unleashing their new signing Pitts on us aswell and we know how good hes meant to be! When i read this back it makes me question why im going????? lol

| I fear the worst.
Without Webster our right edge defence is crap, mainly because Horne isn't a centre and then he has been playing with inexperienced wingers, Manu, Yeaman and Briscoe will tear us apart down there.
Our only hope is that our pack do the exact opposite of what they did on Friday and play like we know they can.
We desperately need Hall, Webster, Galea and Green back.

For that reason i expect rovers to up their game and maybe get a result, derbies never have been and never will be easy to call and i personaly cant call this one with any real conviction.
Although Hull may have Yeaman returning and their new signing also making an appearance i still think it will be won in the forwards, derby games are also as much about
mental strength as physical and thats why i believe a derby is not always the ideal game to come back from injury or make your debut as in the case of Pitts.
