I did not agree with the Pryce signing but he has actually done well IMO. Considering we are average anyhow.
I just think Rovers are panic signing.'"
What difference does it make if they are panic signing or not? He is only here for a maximum of 11 games and will be gone again

HTW and Dean are both 2 years young than Marsh, I expect by the time they are both Marsh's age, one of them will be a first team regular.
They should be giving Marsh (Or should have given Robinson a chance) rather than sign an NRL reserve grader.
It seems every time Rovers get an injury (Certainly long term) they look to bring in a a new signing or a loan player, Chester needs to trust his young players or at least give them the chance.

No disrespect Dave, but don't you think that Rovers coaching staff will know better than you if Marsh is ready? You make your usual massive assumption that your lads will be ready in 2 years, please come back when they have delivered on this. As for Marsh, if he's ready he plays, its not like Chisholm has just signed on for 5 years is it?

HTW is at the club in two years he will have played more a few games, certainly more than Marsh has, Abdul, Logan and Lancaster (All younger) have played a lot more games that March already, it's either Rovers are preparing them properly or the club doesn't trust them.
The fact that Chisholm has only signed short term makes it worst IMO, surely Marsh could have played a few games, particularly if you are in the middle 8's as the standard will be a lot lower. Very short term thinking from Rovers.
Same with Hull with regard some of the younger players who should have played in front of Yeaman and Michaels.

Like I said, maybe the club don't think Matty is ready, kids mature at vastly different rates. Liam Salter has played more than all them 3 put together, he was obviously ready at 18/19.

How i look at it is rovers are not bursting at the seems with money in their pockets so if we already have a player in the squad on the salary cap who would come in and do a job the club wouldn't have to fly someone from the other side of the world paying him and putting him up in accommodation if it wasn't necessary

| Why did Rovers panic and loan sign a halfback ?
Kelly looks OK ?
It is clearly forwards you need .

Probably because Blair is much more affective in the 2nd row and we would then lack a 6. I will be much more confident if he goes ok at 6 with Maurice back where he is most affective, our defence on his side is much improved when he is out there.

Do you seriously think we managed to bring in a loan signing from the other side of the world to cover the injury Kelly sustained last Sunday? If so, you have no concept of sports contracts whatsoever.
Kelly may have looked ok to the casual observer, but to those of us who see him every week, he looked less than half-cocked. Clearly carrying an injury.

Kelly should never have played. He spent the first half hour shovelling it on and then stepped up a bit when it got desperate. Major risk of busting him for the season when in all likely hood had we won we'd still be in the middle 8. Sad thing is even on one leg he was still in our top 3 performers..
