| Just to set the facts straight: Rhys Lovegrove passed his fitness test during the week and was cleared to play against Warrington -- apparently considered not good enough.

Sandercock does seem against Rhys for some strange reason.

| We're beginning to wonder what else Rhys can do. He's an intelligent footballer who trains and works hard, tries to keep his mistakes and penalties to a minimum. He's given some of the best years of his life for Rovers and is rarely ineligible for selection due to injury or judiciary reasons.

Should have gone to Hull when he had the chance

There were clear howlers last night in the first 30 minutes, how we kept them out is anyones guess, but that didn't cost us the game, that was poor tackling, loose carrying and poor play options.'"
Utter drivel. refs may be incompetent and not see everything but none of them are biased.

Lovegrove is underrated. Id have had him in over Ollett, J. Walker and Netherton.
Netherton over Lovegrove? Seriously?!

| Don't know what Sandercocks problem is with Rhys. He wasn't given a fitness test until after the squad was announced. How is that fair? Rhys is the type of player we need at the club, he's loyal and doesn't let anyone down. Yet he's not treated fairly at all.

| Being a head coach, or indeed a manager of any organisation is about working with and getting the best out of the personnel that you have.
Lovegrove clearly feels that Sandercock has an issue with him, whether Sandercock does or does not have an issue is irrelevant, the fact is that Lovegrove feels that way.
That is not how to manage people, I don't think Sandercock has the personality or expertise to make Rovers the club we should be.
Purtill has been my selection for a number of years, unfortunately, he's just signed an extension with Huddersfield, do pass sales or compensation make the numbers work better for Hudgell?

| Contracts in reality don't mean anything hang a head coaches position in front of purtil and I'm sure he'd jump at it

| Possibly so, but Huddersfield clearly want to keep him, it would cost to get him.
I've banged his drum (fnarr) before, he's worked with a number of quality coaches at a number of clubs with excellent structures.
We brought Sandercock in with aim of having him structure the club from top to bottom, that's what's required, unfortunately he is not able to do that a clear out of the coaching staff is required.
This season has gone, and the last three or four have been gone by this stage. That's not good. We have a fantasic BOD who are HKR to the marrow, but hard decisions need to be made.
Keep the lesser light grass roots people and everybody else go.
Hudgell is throwing five hundred large at this year after year, is he getting value for money?
No.

I'm not at all happy with the current state of affairs on the pitch but what you've touched on there is what keeps me thinking there's more to this situation than we see on the pitch at present. Hudge is a fan but not to the extent that he is going to chuck half a mill a year down the pan, so to be so keen to keep CS he must be seeing something behind the scenes that make him think he is the right man for the job. For this reason I am prepared to trust Hudge's judgement, bearing in mind he has done pretty well for us so far.
