Sounds like a good idea - think I'll have a go.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |
|
| With a week to go they are saying on the Bradford board that they expect the game to be off

TBF I had a few harsh words for Chris "Beyond awful" Thorman and "Cry baby" Calderwood before they signed for us. Clearly they are both world-beaters now.

| Quote: Gavin Miller - Legend "Vella and Fozzard are nailed on.
If feel Macca and Mills will get the other 2 props berths.
Wheeldon will have to wait for his oppotunity based on what i have seen so far (all 4 friendlies).
He works hard in defence and will run all day.
He has made more handling errors then any other of the props in the warm up games.
When he does get his chance im sure he wont let anybody down.'"
Fair enough.
Or you could have just said he has a hand injury

| Briscoe, Fox, Welham, Webster, Colbon in the backs.
Cooke at Stand-off, or Murrell, if Cooke is injured. Morgan might go for Galea, but I think he is better left in SR.
Dobson at SH.
Props Vella, Fozzard, Mills, Aizue.
Hooker Fisher and Cockayne.
Back Row Galea, Newton, Murrell/Gene/Walker (is Walker fit? 18th man if he and Cooke both are).
If Cooke does miss out, having an extra strong-running back rower in against the Bulls pack will be some compensation.

Yes, 100%.
I'd have Walker in the team myself, he's been excellent in the games he's played pre-season.
I'd be tempted to have Walker and Webster at centre and Fox and Welham on the wing. I think Kris would be unlucky to miss out after having some fine warm up games.
I'd maybe stick Colbon on the bench to cover forwards and backs, he certainlty put in a lot of work against Salford.

Actually that sounds better, in a lot of ways. Looking at the Bradford board, they are predicting a heavy pitch if the game goes ahead at all! That being the case I'd even consider putting Vella in the second row with Galea at LF. Murrell then at stand-off or hooker, depending on Cooke's wrist. No, I've confused myself now

| I'm yet to see a reason why Kris Welham shouldn't start the season at centre. Colbon was excellent in his spell against Salford so I'd start him on the wing. If Cooke is injured, maybe move Scott to 6, Galea to 13 and play Chev in the second row...? Gene in for Fitz so he can get over his injury early.

Cookie is 70% likely to play according to JM.
