I very much doubt they didn't expect it.

I think we're struggling with how you work Anakin to be fair.

| Have you been talking to Eddy on the HDM forum?
I don't think they will have encountered extra costs after removing 500mm of top soil. Keep calm and relax. All going to plan.

No, silly. You need to bore to pile, though. Have you seen any activity relating to bored piles, Darth?
If the ground at CP is clay (probable) then this method is econmical ( , Hudge) and effective and the load bearing capacity can be controlled by varying the thickness of the shaft and the stiffness of the corresponding erect member, or pile.
Can we safely say this is a boring thread, now?

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| No digging has been done to find that piling would be needed, piling was always going to be needed on a structure this size.

| The boring bit has to be done in order to fill the shafts with the piles. Obviously. I was asking if this part of the works is underway, not whether exploratory probing had taken place. It being fairly obvious that the land would have been surveyed before any plans were chalked. Em, surely?

Mike smith surveyed it, and said it was fine.
