How can sheens have addy in the 17 and not atkins,and jewitt is just a penalty machine and contributes more when he is injured than he does when he's fit.

As an Hull fan I suppose I look at it slightly more biased, but Jewitt is just a really poor player in my eyes. The very first time he got tackled today (think it was the 3rd tackle of the match) he got up and went walking straight after Taylor (?) And threw a little push at him. Every time I see him play he seems intent on been some kind of enforcer and tough guy, rather than just getting his head down and playing solid rugby like Garbutt does.
Plus you could tell today he hasn't played for a while, he looked massively out of shape.

When you say obstruction are you talking about when you put kicks in and our players were impeding your chasers? If so I must admit I was surprised that penalties weren't given. Although IIRC you ended up with the ball from drop outs anyway, so they probably weren't massive turning points.

I won't gloat, but I would be disappointed with the efforts of a few of your boys today. If you are outplayed then that's fair enough, but some of yours just never looked up for it, and by the end they had given up completely. That's not acceptable. Garbutt was excellent again though. You would have really been in bother had he not played.

there are 5 or 6 championship players and 1 or2 that have maybe gone on to long , in our team today , garbutt, linnett, are quality a few to come back may just be enough to distance us from london, but willingness to defend is a must when your halfbacks arent doing it, and some were not willing ,saying that 1st period was very even 2nd ended up a rout fc got a roll on and as you well know its hard to stop when heads drop and a few calls dont go your way,no excuses though mullered in the second half and not good enough

Back end of 1st half when Taylor and Ellis went off I thought we got on top a bit and went into halftime looking the fresher of the 2 sides.Lo and behold 1st real Set in 2nd half another dropped ball and we concede and that was pretty much it. Don't know what the completion rate was but felt low and lots of slow dumb end of set plays. We tackled poorly we attacked poorly. To let a player like Logan score a hattrick is criminal. Thought Griffin and Tuimavave were relatively quiet but every time Connor had the ball we pappered our Kex. 56 points tells a story but defending like that pretty much any SL team would have racked them up. Positives few and far but Linnett and Garbutt tried hard so did Hall and Crooks.The rest should take a hard look at themselves. Must be questions why Vai Vai and Atkin didn't play? From a fans perspective the bottle throwing and aggro just was mindless and those concerned want banning. If that performance was the final Derby of season then would be a long wait to get hands on them again but July will be here in no time and it's set up for a decider. Thaler was a herbert again but wasn't resposible for us tackling like hands were covered with Lurpak. Disappointed but nowts broke that can't be fixed.
