| Quote: Mild Rover "The thing is, as we've found before, if you can only beat the weaker teams it isn't enough. If that is the case, then we're in the middle 8s already. You can't get 10 wins if you're only capable of competing in 8 fixtures.
I think we need to give the team a chance to reacclimatize, and this is just one game. I worry that you're right, but 5 other teams have had a disappointing start too.'"
yep....Cas = nowhere, Wire = somewhere, but looking very beatable, Leeds = defensively very competent, but rusty everywhere else.
dunno about Salford or the pies, only Saints look somewhere approaching difficult opponents at this time, even though Cas were rubbish the potential for a decent side this season at Saints was obvious.
Nope, I reckon a trip to a rusty Leeds (who are playing away kind of) is here at the right time of the season for HKR, nothing to lose game that one......I'll be shouting for them anyway..

| Quote: fun time frankie "We were totally outplayed in the first half and yet with 15 to go we were still in the game which gave me a little hope for future matches still can't understand why we haven't brought in a big prop it showed tonight that only Mose made big yards for us really but not as disheartened as I was at half time on a side note how long do you think Jewitt will last in the derby I'm going for 2 mins'"
At six try's to one that's a bit of a thumping at home. I'm not surprised Waky are a good team very tidy and they have added a couple of good signings, what is peacock getting all his cash for running kids camps, because your recruitment has been poor and that I am surprised with, I though with sheens at the helm and his contacts and Peacock with contacts over here you would have had a much better roster, but Tickle tbh he has been at the end of his career for a while now he is a championship player at best and there's not been many of then fighting for his services or he would have signed already it also sounded like one of your players may face the disciplinary panel for a late elbow on Miller , also Sheens said Scruton was a while from been back I thought his injury not bad ?

Can't even quote you properly your that pathetic. Of course Wakefield will be in the mix at the end of the season get real. Every team gets a thumping in a season but we won't get many. Trinity are a good outside bet for silverware, if you weren't so deluded you'd see that. Finally who are these proper sides who are going to beat us? Are they the ones who couldn't do it last year but then you won't know will you as you weren't in SL.

| No real surprise as your squad is firmly bottom 4 and wakey will be top 6 so a fair difference in quality. Your real problems will come if you pick up 2 or 3 more injuries as despite what my rovers supporting mates try and convince themselves, you have absolutely no strength in depth in that squad. You'll be playing teenagers with virtually no 1st grade experience by round 4 or 5

| Some odd decisions but Wakey were clinical and look good for 2018. Liam needs to remember how to kick goals though.
Marsh was hopeless and should not have been picked, not SL quality. Quinlan was missing in attack. Maguire, Lunt, Carney, Blair and Masoe all had good games. Minns a bit lost. Jewitt continues to be a penalty machine.

| Quote: Burtons Forearm "I think we have a better 1,6,7 and 9 than them. However our defence is the key as it will be all year.
Wish Trinity well but big clubs were poor last year..Wigan ,saints, wire so 5th flatters them.
One thing is sure. Sheen 's team will be better prepared than Chester's'"
Not last night all these positions were dominated by Wakey missed goal kicks also kept the score a but lower. I thought it would have been a bit trickier last night with HKR back in SL and all the emotion getting the team up. Personally I thought we dominated all aspects if the game and except for some silly penalties and forcing the ball we looked comfortable. You blew a chance or two but so did Wakey. I thought the ref was OK but should have tidied up the ruck early doors. As for Sheens saying he thought Hull KR looked fitter than Wakey in the second half well thats his opinion I will leave it at that. I know he has to find positives to get ghe lads up for your next game. Not having a dig and I hope you get going its good to have you back in SL.

| It makes you wonder what chester could have achieved at rovers if he didn't have hudge and peacock interfering.

Yep that was a desperate comment, he mistook a rally in front of a passionate crowd as superior fitness or at least he chose to.

CC owes a lot to John Kear on that score, taught him all the tricks he was lacking at Rovers. Also MC and CB are not RL people and don't pretend to be, they run the the club CC runs the players as it should be.

I thought last night there was a spell in 2nd half that we looked fitter in that we got on front foot a bit but dropped ball and silly penalties took away any momentum.Clutching at straws really and dont think anyone could argue that Wakey didn't deserve the points?

Aye, Chester stuffed up at Rovers but he did the honourable thing and seems to have learned the lessons. Good luck to him.
