| I suggest the people complaining about the shoulder charge by Green and the sentence handed down view RFL ON FIELD COMPLIANCE PROCEDURES & SENTENCING GUIDELINES
Sentencing Guidelines
Rule 15.1 (K)
Shoulder Charge B-D Indirect or secondary contact with the head of an attacking player.
C-E Direct initial contact with the head of an attacking player.
A-C Other dangerous contact.
After viewing the incident The Match Review Panel decided on a grade B offence which carries a Tariff of 1-2 matches. I’m pretty certain they would have the benefit of better replays than viewers either watching Sky/Super League show.

The tariff is inline with his actions then as even on the sky replays you see that Green hits the top of Burns shoulder which slides up into his face.

You see, my dear boy, we are St Helens. This isn't some rugby league backwater where laps of the field are appllcable following victory. This is a place where the club, fans, players, man on the street, expect to win, demand victory even. Not hope, not pray for a decent cup draw - no, none of that level of desperation. This is a place where self importance is instilled precisely because we are important. Our name resonates throughout the game; it's why you do laps of the field following victory over ourselves; it's why when the cup draw is made, you pray our name isn't pulled out; it's why you aren't surprised when yet another trophy is placed in our cabinet - it's because we are St Helens. This is the kind of club that James Green will want to play for when he inevitably decides his present rugby league backwater is no longer for him. Right now, he's fine. Should he become good then the likes of St Helens will roll into town. Self importance is a part of being an establishment like our own; it's part of our make up, if you will.
On the challenge, well Green was a lucky boy; however now our chairman, the most respected in the game and a man whom the authorities listen to has spoken publicly. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Green is dragged back for a further hearing. You see again, when St Helens' chairman speaks, the RFL listen. That's part of being whom we are also.
Cheerio now.

If Barham Red's point needed any validation, there you have it ladies and gentlemen.

| Oh dear, SLS you really are a plank. And for the record our players walk round the east and north stand and back to the west stand after every match win lose or draw, not just because we beat Saints at home yet agin.

What a plank. Whats your recent record over ourselves again? As for the RFL dragging him in again because your chairman has had a word get real and lose the self importance, Mcmanus statement was wrong btw. Green recieved a 2 match ban which was reduced to a 1 match ban due to his good discipline previously meaning he still had an EGP. Something that Saints players have benefitted from many times previously.

We must have been practising all these years then, as I saw nothing after the Sts game that the players did any different to any other game at Craven Park in the last 15 years.
Quote: SLS "it's why when the cup draw is made, you pray our name isn't pulled out; '"
Didn't do us any harm last time you got pulled out of the ball bag against us. Well, most of us weren't harmed, I can't speak for Craig Hall.

| Ladies and gents, don't waste your time typing away talking about your cup result or annual victory over us at Craven Park - it matters not a jot. These are regular hiccups that we sustain on our march to whichever final we're making each year.
Here's what matters. Your last trophy of any note was in 1985. Since then, here's ours......
League leaders - 5 times.
Champions - 6 times.
Challenge Cup winners - 7 times.
World champions - 2 times.
So apologies but please do excuse me if the odd defeat in the black hole of Calcutta doesn't see me lose any sleep.
Cheerio.

Like you did with Rich Beaumont, just shows, all the arrogance in the world and you still know Jack Sh!t about players and their worth. Now trot along and get ready for your pretend derby on Friday, but be warned, that nasty Mr Wane is calling for a physical approach from his players, you know how that upsets you chaps.

| So Rovers again defeated us home. And deserved it was too.
And they did the same last season. That said, when we were parading that big trophy around Old Trafford last October the loss at Caravan Park meant very little to any St Helens fan.
St Helens do laps of honour after winning major trophies.
By contrast...
Rovers do laps of honour after winning two points against us.
