rovers certainly have the indian eye over saints but I hear childs was biased as hell and gave you everything today'"
As I said earlier child's gave very few pens all game, think saints probably edged the pen count but it will have been low.

More often than the fans of a losing side give the ref praise for being even handed

Nevermind, we'll take the two points. Nothing for you here, you might as well crawl back under your rock for the night.

Funny, just browsed over there and not one is saying that. How bizarre they must have mass edited their posts.

| A couple of posters on the Saints site put it down to
1. the fact that Saints players were not bothered about winning
2. the structure of SL was to blame
No mention of us beating then soundly, only that if Saints had really wanted to they would have hammered us.

What a load of crap that comment is they weren't bothered about winning I played for over 14 years as a professional player and played and coached in the amateur game and not once in all that time did I never ever want to beat the opposition even when we played the top teams of the day one of them being the Saints when we still believed we could beat them and wanted to beat them
If they weren't bothered about winning they should club too and give their loyal supporters who pay hard earned money out to follow them home and away the money back

| It is interesting how the top teams manage their seasons though. wigan and leeds seemingly happy to lose games during the season confident that at their peak they can beat any team on any ground so they're not that bothered about where they finish the regular season so long as they are there or thereabouts. wire possibly also going that way.
As for saints, I just don't think they are that good. Take away walsh and their back line doesn't look that impressive. amor, roby and walmsley apart, neither do their forwards

| To be honest saints looked poor but you can't blame not having Walsh in the team as they managed ok against Wigan without him for a lot of the game but however poor they looked there still top of the league

I think it's a reflection of the declining state of the game currently. I haven't seen any team this season that I've thought was that great TBH

| Saints will look either fantastic this season or absolutely dire. I'm still of the belief we have one of, if not the best squads in Super League (and you can do your well they dont look good if you take out <insert 6 players> - its a compliment, people used to do that for our teams in the early 2000's) - the problem is the players attitude is absolutely stinks - if we dont have a point to prove and or anything to gain, they will simply not bother, infuriating to say the least from a fans perspective. Even without walsh if the players turned up with the right attitude the game could of been very different indeed (not taking anything away from rovers win which was 100% deserved).
I will will bite slightly Jake - so wigan and leeds target games to win and dont care about losing others but saints dont do that? Would beating wigan and castleford not be targetting games?
Congratulations on your win, you truly are our bogey team, but were still doing better against you than we did last year

I'm not a rovers fan. I'm sure leeds and wigan would love to win every week but practically speaking no team is likely to so they know they will lose games as the season progresses. You can't really argue with how they go about things as they've won the last 7 SL titles between them.
sainst definitely have one of the better squads in SL but you don't have enough quality in the outside backs or the back row for me and that's why I can't see you winning it
