| Well I don't think many people saw that coming. 24-6 down at half time the supporters must have feared the worst. A great result for you and it proves that this league has some very competitive teams. Well done!!

| The Hammersmith Express had a very fortunate meeting in pre season with someone who very subtly gave him the confidence to believe in himself and back his pace and ability.
He's a long way off but he also showed up in defence today.
Serious points.
Huddersfield were not good.
We were a little unlucky to not turn round at 18-12, big twelve point shift before half time.
Our halves were poor and created very little, we can slate Keating's kicking game, but Burns was nowhere to be seen a lot of the time.
We had the majority of the territory but our last tackle plays were again not good, Costigan twice driving for the line on the fifth when he's got decent hands and a plethora of experience is unforgivable.
Huddersfield's tactics in the second half were all wrong, my friends point was that they felt we didn't have three scores in us so looked to just drive and kick it out the back door, instead of putting us to the sword, that cost them.
Plus points.
This talked about team and group spirit was certainly there today. We didn't give up. The forwards had another real dig. Green was excellent again and one daft mistake apart so was Cox. Poore (despite causing the fight, apparently, I couldn't see, Huddersfield fans told me later) really added venom.
Caro's try at the end was why we love this game. Eden's part in that was huge, really clever little switch play, he backed himself, took half a step and put The Hammersmith Express away. Chuffed to monkeys for the kid, although he did look to tweak something.
The reaction at the end from the players was one of solid unity, I hope we can carry that forward.
Just for Oyster Bay, your lad had a typically completely committed game, ran hard and true.

| credit to rovers for sticking with it and not letting their heads drop, to be honest it was an awful game spoiled by a less than impressive refereeing display, we were a bit sloppy first half and i thought we would come out with all guns blazing and blow you away in the 2nd, that didnt happen and whilst we were fairly abject, rovers kept going and probably just about deserved a point.
i see it as 2 points dropped though, i thought you were there for the taking but we didnt have it in us to take it.
so fair play and well done on earning a point, and well done to the few hundred who came over, they loved it at the end

| Not just because of his last min kick but thought burns was really good today, welham on the other hand made a few mistakes and poor decisions! A few better last play decisions and we could of had the 2 points. Cant complain though at half time thought we were gonna get pumped!

| What great 2nd half, the players showed team spirit is such an asset and though I felt we were just going to come up short,we never gave up and thats what got us a point. I thought eden, hodgson, poore were very good and cox had a strong game when he came on.the news about langley is good, should be ok for friday night.I thought keating played ok and that nobody had a shocker as was the case against leeds. Travis 4 from 4 kicks under pressure, brilliant !!

| Looks like some serious sour grapes on their board. Apparently Bentham was playing for you and is the only reason you won, according to some of them. Ignore 'em, they'll have had their share of iffy decisions.

not quite, most of us acknowledge the fact that bentham had a shocker but that didnt cost us the win, it was our own inabilty to finish the game to a high standard and rovers never giving up, dont try and cause problems where there isn't any.

Not really, as an away fan behind the sticks you can't really see.
I thought he had a good game, but then we came up with an unexpected point.
The Huddersfield fans who are to be fair, side on, felt we were offside and lying on all game.
Perhaps we were, but it's up to the referee to clamp down on that and therefore improve the spectacle from the off.
I'm like the ing UN tonight me.

| Thought rovers deserved a point! Giants 2nd half was the worst half I've seen for a while. We looked to lack any intensity whilst KR wanted it more. Shame on my team but hopefully an early wake up call. Well done for the point and you would of probley won the game if you had more time

Even more so for their coach to do it. Or did he sleep though the period with Brown in charge and him assisting?

| 1st point, many thanks for the parking tip, we used the council one down St Andrews Way and saved 4 quid but more importantly, got away much easier, going back via Ainley Top as well.
Now the game. We were shockingly bad 1st half, and despite all the field position, we were not that great in the 2nd half. The last 3 mins we basically mugged Huddersfield, and they only have themselves to blame for not turning up after h/t.
Having just seen the scrap on Sky Sports, I can see Mr Poore missing on Friday.
The late mugging is revenge for Brett Hodgson doing the same to us in 2009

Might have to pinch that name during commentry The Hammersmith Express.
I interviewed Omari afterwards and he admitted scoring that try whilst suffering with cramp in the final few minutes.
Still need more from Travis attacking wise I agree but I thought he led the team by example in the second half and produced moments that kept us alive in the game.

| Funny how we all watch the same game and yet see things very differently.
I thought Travis Burns was immense my MoM and to hear he is full of flu it was an unbelievable performance from him. And an immaculate display of goalkicking which was truly a surprise.
Keating was quiet and yes we must give him time - but if Dobson had been out there today with all that possession near the line we would have won at a canter. He'd have had a field day.
At half time things looked very bleak we'd pretty well matched the second half display against Leeds. But pride was restored even before the last ditch heroics with a very aggressive and determined 2nd half. We shouldn't have really needed those late exploits if our last tackle plays hadn't been so dismal. Although some credit to a strong Huddersfield defence.
Although Burns was our best player the man who did most to get points on the board was Greg Eden. He didn't score himself but had a crucial role in 3 of our tries and came up with a brilliant play to send Caro racing away for the final try. All Caro had to do was run but run he did and he left the Hudds winger for dead.
People are saying Hudds were poor in the 2nd half and maybe so but I'll tell you something for sure - you are far more likely to look poor against the aggressive in your face 2nd half Rovers than the lacklustre 1st half Rovers. Think we won the brawl though but proceeded to concede a try to 11 man Huddersfield.
So a bit of belief has been restored. But we have produced one half of decent rugby and one half of rubbish in each of our games so far a trait which we were well known for in 2013.
Castleford are a different proposition to last season and any win will do on Friday. Caro scored 2 today and his pace was vital in the last score - but I wouldn't pitch him head on with Justin Carney there's only one winner there.
But the main thing - as it was last season, is to put in an 80 minute performance not 40.
