Well said Anakin. This person is obviously as big a pest on your board as he is on ours.

| As a dual reg fan, well done City.
The premier league really is an awful existence tho'. The sooner a super-duper European league can be formed and the top four/whoever can frep off, the better. 'Til then take the money and invest it wisely for the future, unlike last time.
On Dr Allam, a big well done and thank you to him. Whatever you believe/agenda, he saved the local football club from the very real prospect of financial ruin ala Portsmouth/Rangers. Took the decision to part with Barmby and £-backed Bruce. It's worked out well really.

| With Allams bitter words for the council today, does that make any rumoured investment/takeover at Rovers less likely? What with the council owning Craven Park and being so heavily involved in the North Stand development, might be off-putting.

Makes sense. Deal's pretty close from what I hear, ties in with the deals for George, Netherton and now Nicklas to push the cap spend up. Also read that Paea's agreed a 2 year contract.

I thought the council just owned the land.

And the North Stand on which Rovers own the council £2m. The point being any CP development would involve contractual and planning negotiations between the Allams and the council, as well as the Allams paying the council £2m over the term of the agreement.
Anyway, it's Adrian Watts, isn't it?

| Adrian Watts is a director of Hirebase, our main shirt sponsors. I had to Google that, btw.

Correct. To tie in announcement with Paea extension as an extra-timely boost. If he were really going to Wigan, they'd have announced it by now. As mentioned, adding new players to the squad for depth is not the sign of lack of financial confidence.

They arnt taking over. They are investing. One, I am told, is expecting it to be announced any day now. The other was still talking to Rovers today. Exciting times i think if it comes to fruition. Neither party is Adrian Watts unless I am getting duff info.
