And if we get rid of Briscoe with the intention of playing Cockayne at FB then we certainly need a new coach. Ben is okay as a stop gap and adds much needed enthusiasm to our side when he plays but he's not good enough to hold a regular place in our side at FB and I'd expect better.

You're spot on; Ben would be in my team in every week, but only as a sub.

If we get rid of Briscoe we need to either replace him with a specialist full back or bite the bullet and give Sheriff the job for 2012 and see how he develops. Ben is not a long term answer IMO, keep him by all means as a utility player.
