best post of the day well said....
HKR are a top 6 side just struggling to blow the carbon off the pistons at present...
FC were the better side today BUT the score could have been much much worse if not for some world class line defence from HKR
both teams take a bow , a cracking match and the whole city won today , great show for TV that was

| Thought young Sam Latus did well today. Hull were clearly targeting him, kicking to him and putting him up against Whiting who is a great catcher of the ball, but he caught and returned well.

Yeah Sam is becoming a firm favourite with the fans to be fair there haven't been to many for us to shout about at the minute.

| I thought we deserved it over the 80 minutes and those 2 late scores probably put a realistic scoreline on the game. having said that, your goal line defence in that 20min period was nothing short of herioc in that heat. The effort that must of taken made it near on impossible for you to go the length of the field twice to score.
The best chance you had was when Fox made that break. You got the quick PTB and for some reason Cockayne came back inside. After that, there was only ever going to be one winner.
Dobson was clearly nowhere near fit.
Great astmosphere provided by you lot as normal......Roll on Craven Park, cant wait.

If it wasn't for the points deductions to Wakey and Crusaders, we would only be off bottom by a small points difference.

No, it isn't. It only goes to show how right many of us were over the last season or two dreading an injury to Dobson. I think we need a player for 2012 who can do what Brough and Obst do, cover as good at half back and hooker, it would certainly ease any future Dobbo injury worries.

| Well done FC it was your day, as for Rovers we will get better (the season ends in late September). FC off loading did for us, next time they try it it may not work yesterday they stuck other times they may not. What finished us off was 50+ more tackles in defence. All the bleating moaning & despondancy is a waste of time you either support Rovers or you dont, Those of us who do will be there on Monday & every other chance we get those who dont wont be there & therfore dont matter. I support League & Rovers in particular, results either way are just what happens I live with it.

| Hull shouldve had 60 pts, a good side wouldve done, we got most of the refs calls, Green was your best half back, Dobson kicking was poor, 3 very good tries imo by KR. One of the Hull squad tells me Morgan to Wigan? Anyone heard?

I said the same, I thought he did well. I thought we should have stopped targetting him, and switched to Cockayne who is suspect under the high ball.
Overall, we were much the better side and scoreline was about the right margin IMO, maybe if anything is should have been more. That said, I see so many flaws in our own game, it's not worth crowing too much about.
Also great was that I saw no bother at all, hope everyone had a safe day out.
