HOW on earth do you get NILLED at Wembley ?
When your coach isn't a winner at heart and Gentle is not a winner at heart .
We were a pub team
I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO
RL is a tough tough game and Maylord She-dong you have no clue
In fact don't ever ever reply to any of my posts again:37721.jpg |

that'll be the dobson thats hardly missed a game whilst in a rovers shirt, put in some great performances, got in the dream team last year. i'll take the factory any time! how's the gypsy doing?

Just pointing out that he's reportedly turned Wigan down, concurrent with a story in the Sun that Rovers have made him a megabucks deal, which was the same pattern of events as happened with Dobson. I can't believe that you forgot to mention the Albert Goldthorpe medal.
Cheap and nasty shot about Long BTW, who needed oxygen last night before being helped from the field with a serious elbow injury. Still, it clearly makes you feel good, so go ahead and enjoy.

| Reet, this is about Finch and Lima. Rovers have possibly offered them some money to play for us. They will either accept some money or they will not. That is the financial side of things dealt with definitively (you're very welcome).
Let us now look at the other side of these potential transactions, that is to say what they would offer as Rugby League players, rather than twisting it into a tedious trolling thread.

Isn't it obvious what they would offer? A quality replacement for Cooke and some grunt up front. No doubt they would be very good signings. Question is more where something would maybe have to give elsewhere, either from a salary cap or squad numbers perspective.

It's a discussion point, turning down the league leaders and joining a lower ranked club suggets one thing, money!
I don't think you will get Lima but do think Finch will come your way.

If a point of discussion concerns the subject of Hull KR, but only interests the fans of Hull FC, which board does it rightfully belong on? You'd be very welcome to it.
I come on here primarily to discuss rugby. Professional sport, so money is part of that, and I'd happy to discuss it sensibly. Perhaps the subject should be rehabilitated, but it'd need a troll cull first, IMO.

HULL KINGSTON ROVERS is my religion, Craven Park is my church and Jordan Abdull is my God: |

| Quote: PAUL M " No it doesn't, Rovers could have offered a similar or even slightly less amount than wigan. Finch knows Justin and is good mates with clint so that could be in his mind from a settlement point of view. Maybe privately he wasn't a fan of mcguires coaching methods at the storm? Not everyone is motivated by money

| Empathy mode:
To Hull fans the prospect of playing for the 'dirty reds', on the wrong side of town in front of 'inbreds' and alongside 'thuggish cowards' is deeply unappealing and only a the worst type of mercenary would whore away his talent in such a way. Therefore we only sign bad 'uns. In contrast, players are attracted to a 'big club' like Hull FC by the wonderful stadium, 'brilliant fans' and the famous shirt, so are much more likely to represent value for money.
Our perspective is different, only in that it is reversed. Neither is particularly realistic or useful for anything more that bottom of the barrell banter.

Don't know about Finch agreeing to sign but we need a six so hopefully true. Not being interested in Lima seems the most likely as well. Can't see the logic in trying to get round the quota system to sign a player when its an area the uk is reasonably strong in.
