Do you have to try and turn every post into a sh*t throwing competition?

I stated a fact that Josh left for first team rugby. We were also starting to talk about it been a big year for Josh and Scott Spaven and you bring the fc v rovers jibe up. Trolling on your own site is a new one!

Stating a fact is hardly turning the post into anything. Its hardly a jibe.

I come on here for some decent debates and a bit of banter. You didnt state a fact, you had a jibe. I dont really care to be fair what you say, the majority of people on here are decent and are up for the same kind of conversations as i am, you clearly just aren't capable.

Depends how you define fact. I would think most fans would look at league positions to define the better team. HTH

My initial point was about expecting Spaven to share Hodgsons big aspirations for 2010 given that they are the same age.
My personal viewpoint is that Hodgson will start the season in Reserve grade in much the same way Wheeldon did for us in 2009 until he reaches the standards that Rovers expect from its players, but will grasp the opportunity with both hands when he gets his chance and cement his place.
Having watched Spaven over the past 3 seasons i have seen a rate of progression but have doubts that he will ever become an established Super League player. Would be very happy to be proved wrong on that one though.

Obviously Morgs and Rovers have seen something in Spaven to warrant giving him his chance. I suppose with current financial pressures its essential we develop our youngsters. Worse case scenario means he does nt make it and it wont have cost us a fortune-at Hull I think they have taken a bit of a risk with big money signings at the back end of their career. Of course I could be proved wrong.

After the last two seasons I would be prepared to take it mate.

I agree with you about Josh, i'd love to see him given a run at 9 though after we messed him about positionally. He does have some real talent at 9. As with Spaven though for you i'm not sure if Josh has what it takes to become an established SL player, time will tell. Hope he gets a chance though.

I think that josh willl go well for you, as I also think that Ratu will. I think it could be even between us this year, and I think that if anything rovers are only lacking a prop or two from improving from last year. That said, I think last years Sl was the weakest I remember so I will settle for Hull 6th-8th and rovers will be in a similar bracket. IMO of course. Morgan is the difference for rovers and what he instills in the side. We would have won the grand final with Morgan in charge from the last five years of our club.
